“Nawt funny, lady.” The kittens have been dropped off for their surgery (Mary & Laura are in another carrier) and at home, Charles and Caroline couldn’t possibly care less.
Charles and Caroline are adoption pending and will go home when their people have a chance to drive down from Michigan – you read that right! – to get them!!! I know that many many MANY MANY MANY of you expressed, repeatedly, over and over and over again, that we should make them permanent residents, but that was never in the cards. (I would explain why, but I find that providing explanations leads to people explaining back to me why those are silly reasons, and much in the same way I accept that your reasons are valid, you’re going to have to take it on faith that mine are as well.) I don’t know when exactly they’ll be going home, but it shouldn’t be much longer. And of course they’re going together! ❤️

Albert’s decided that my pillow belongs on the floor.
“Lady, did you show the innernets my toeses? Maybe someone out there needs a kitten with toeses like these!” Do YOU need a sweetheart of a kitten with excellent toes? Almanzo’s 4 siblings and their parents are all adoption pending, and we’d sure like to see Almanzo find his forever home too. He’s 3 1/2 months old, has been neutered, and is ready to go. He’s very playful (loves feather toys and will happily LEAP up after a feather teaser), a very snuggly boy (he loves to walk back and forth purring and rubbing against the nearest person), an excellent napping companion (that purr…), and gets along great with other kittens. He needs to be in a home with at least one other kitten or young cat who will play with him (though as far as he’s concerned, the more the better!)
