Sebastian shows off his delightfully spotted belly.

Nigel’s a talker? I hadn’t heard!

Busy, busy kittens.

“What doin’, lady?” wonders Sebastian.

Benji is so stinkin’ cute. Benji, Matilda and Nigel have grown into their long and lanky stage, and they’re all long, long legs and big ol’ ears.

Margarita, on the other hand, is still kind of little and round. But she’s certainly got ears!

Matilda needs one million kisses.

“You gonna pet me, lady?” Lilia wants to know.

“Seriously, lady.”

Oh, that belly.

I’m still feeling like we’ve got a few more days ’til she gives birth. She’s big – but she doesn’t have that super miserable look yet. She’s eating every bit of canned food I give her, so her appetite’s still good. (Some pregnant cats eat much less in the day or two before they give birth… and some do not. I had one mama who stopped while birthing her litter to have a snack.) One thing is for sure, the babies are moving quite a bit, so maybe they’re moving toward the exit. We can hope!

Khal didn’t want to be outside in the middle of the day – the heat, y’know – but he was afraid he might be missing something in the back yard, so he kept watch while also enjoying the AC. Smart boy!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

Happy Toesday from Lilia! Here’s a closeup of her two front paws – I love the speckles.

“I sees you, lady,” says Sebastian.

Lilia’s got a lot more alien belly movement today. I think we’re within a few days of kittens (or maybe tonight! We’ll see!)

It’s a Benji shark with the crazy eyes.

Benji does NOT want to share his mouse… but Bash has other ideas. Also, Nigel’s talking to the wall, which is a very Nigel thing to do.

The laundry helpers are SO helpful!

Good night innernets. (Benji (dangling over the side of the bed), Matilda, and Nigel)

LOL, “maybe they’re moving towards the exit”. Hopefully they will make their appearance in the next few days. Come on kittens!! We want to see all of you!! Hoping there is a nice variety pack.

I want Lilia so bad! She is so pretty and so sweet. Hard to justify traveling from MD to AL for her when I am sure there are plenty of kitties available here. I have a few months to think about it! Can’t wait to see the babies!

Sorry for more blog housekeeping stuff, but Robyn? There’s a mis-linked video in the social media section, the one that’s supposed to be Lilia’s alien belly goes to the one of “Nigel has a purr” from a few days ago (both the embedded video and the link underneath). Which, y’know, is certainly sweet enough for a second helping, so to speak, but not what was intended.

Also, in the laundry helpers shot, is that a photo of Tricki as the wallpaper on your monitor in the background? I know I’ve seen that pic before on the blog, I just couldn’t recall off the top of my head if it was her or another of your foster house-panthers.

      Oops! It’s fixed now!

And yeah, that’s Tricki. Still one of my favorite pictures after all these years (we fostered her in 2013-2014.)
