Estimated date of birth: April 13, 2025.

Magoo came to us on December 21, 2025 when he was about 8 months old. He was a foster named Reverb, part of the Nightcaps litter. He’d been rescued from somewhere in Tennessee with his sister Echo. They were about 10 weeks old at that time, and their eyes were in terrible shape. Echo passed away from wet FIP before they were 6 months old, and after he came to me, Magoo developed a very large abdomen. It was confirmed that he had developed wet FIP also, and so he began the 84 day FIP treatment.
At the time of this writing (May 8, 2026) he’s still undergoing the 84-day post-treatment monitoring period (which ends on June 22nd), and is doing really well. His eyes are still cloudy, but it doesn’t slow him down at all – he plays, runs, and just generally acts like a one year old cat.

We officially adopted him on May 6, 2026 along with his foster brother Milo (formerly Rum). They were the very best of friends, but unfortunately Milo passed away just two days later.
Magoo is the sweetest, gentlest boy who wouldn’t hurt a fly. He is FIV positive – as is Khal – and it’s our experience that FIV positive cats are the absolute sweetest cats in existence. He’s become friends with Charlie and Khal, and the three of them can often be seen hanging out together in the living room, Fred’s office, and the back yard (he likes to follow Charlie when Charlie is “on patrol,” walking the perimeter and making sure all is as it should be.
