Another chomp. I can’t say that I think Sebastian LIKES this, but he’s also not trying too hard to get away, so maybe?
Along came Hazel, who apparently desperately needed her ears cleaned.
Matilda stopped mid-tussle to wonder “What’s going on over THERE?”
Margarita is the CUTEST.
The kittens came through their spay/neuters just fine – as expected – and you’d never know that the boys had had anything done, they didn’t slow down for a moment. The girls were a little quieter, but by bedtime were back to their usual antics.
If you missed it, Nigel, Hazel, Monty and Matilda are still available for adoption. Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG to inquire. They’ll be headed to Petsmart soon, probably this weekend. (Note: they will still be Forgotten Felines of Huntsville kittens, FF volunteers will give them attention multiple times a day, and FF will handle their adoptions. Petsmart simply provides a space for them where they can be seen by people who haven’t seen them here or on social media.)
Benji will be with us ’til his people get back into town on July 7th. He’ll be fine – he’ll have Sebastian and Margarita to keep him company.

These five (from left: Hazel, Monty (back), Matilda (middle), Benji (hugging Matilda) and Nigel) are going for their spay/neuters today! I expect they’ll be home by mid afternoon, ready to sleep it off and then get back to business!

Sebastian playing. It’s like he’s a real cat or something! (No matter how many times I watch them grow from tiny little formless blobs into kittens who eat and play, I always find it fascinating.) (This video is from yesterday – the older five kittens (everyone but Sebastian and Margarita) are off for their spay/neuters today.)
The kittens are home from their spay/neuter surgeries, none the worse for wear (okay… maybe just a liiiittle bit high.) They’re glad to have that done and over with!
Monty always laughs a little too hard at his own jokes, bless his heart.
