In case y’all missed the link earlier this week or over on Facebook, Kay has started up a Facebook page so that when Andouille (Andre) and Beignet (Bella) go home, we’ll be able to watch ’em grow. Go follow that Facebook page here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a “loving Fred” contest, who would win: Frankie or Alice Mo?
Good question! I’m not sure who would win – on the one hand we have Alice, who comes around a couple of times a day to stare lovingly at Fred and get head scritches, then gently lay her head upon his shoulder for a few minutes. On the other hand we have Frankie, who follows Fred around like a puppy for a good part of the day, and if Fred leaves his office door open, Frankie lays quietly at his feet. I guess you could say that they love him equally, but differently.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

How are all of the strays you’ve been dealing with recently? (Fancypants 2.0, Jimmy Ray, the skinny white kitty)

Fancypants v2.0 is doing well – he’s around most mornings and evenings, lets Fred do just about anything he wants, and vamooses as soon as he sees me. (Which is my own fault – I haven’t taken the time to woo him.)
Jimmy Ray hasn’t been around in a while. I suspect he belongs to someone who lives nearby, and just comes to our house for the eats.
The skinny white kitty wandered off when we weren’t paying attention, and hasn’t been back. I’m sure he will be – he knows where the food is!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They certainly do love this window hammock.
So close!
Team effort.
Praline’s got the crazy eyes going on back there.
With those big ol’ clown feet as a base, Andouille’s got a rock-solid stance.
Praline’s doing pretty well, too.
Would you look at that paw? It grew to, like, three times its size. Nice job, Roux.
Roux on the left, Praline on the right.
So. Much. FLOOF!
If I’d known she was going to do THIS, I would have been better prepared. As it was, I barely caught it. That’s right, folks: Beignet has shown her true colors. She’s a flying squirrel. (I just wish that picture was in focus, and that the camera had been aimed just a tad higher.)
“What was THAT?!”
“You didn’t see that, lady. See? I’m just a sweet little cuppa floof.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Video! We have another example of Praline’s goofiness. (And for the record – that’s Praline who runs into the closet, but Roux who runs out.)

And at quarter speed, because these continue to crack me UP.

    I’m so glad that Andouille (Andre) and Beignet (Bella)’s new family started the Facebook page!

    OMGosh – I love Beignet’s craziness! and… I’ve liked and followed the future FB page! YAY! In your vault of future names, Robyn, do you or have you thought about a ‘commotion litter’ – with names like Mayhem, Havoc, Kerfluffle, Hullabaloo, Hoopla, Ruckus, Chaos, etc? Happy Friday!

    Floofy goodness for a Friday!

    And any new readers must go read the infamous basket post from 2015. You’ll thank me (and Robyn of course) afterwards! 😀

      Even us old timers should go see it. I forgot that that’s where the “hugs” banner came from. I love when kittens and cats will try to fit into where there is no room for all of them. It’s fun to see who comes out on top. Well except for when they’re doing it on my pillow at night; they wake me up.

      The other night I had Pogo and Bander sleeping with me on my pillow. Pippin comes up (who’s one very heavy cat) and lays down directly on top of Pogo. Between him on top and Bander leaning on him all that was left out was his little head. And Pogo is a very small cat so all that weight on him had me worried. But after about 10 minutes or so he slithered out and found another spot on the pillow to utilize. This sort of thing happens at least 2 times a week. Although it wakes me up, and is annoying, I still can’t help but be pleased by it all. But last night was one of the nights I only had one with me, Merry decided it was his turn to have me and the pillow. Ok, enough rambling. 🙂

    you know, if you ran a string down the middle of Beignet’s flying picture, she could be a balloon in a Thanksgiving Day parade 🙂 and that kitten video is HILARIOUS

    Hi there – Laurie over at the IBKC posted this several year old vid of her fosters. I think these match your current crew for bounces, leaps, skitterbugging, etc. 4 minutes of fun. 🙂 https://youtu.be/FT8wacVQ92U

      Sorry, it seems the post on FB for this video went through after the popup there said it wouldn’t post. Strange times.

    At the end of the Praline is nuts video, it looks like Roux is saying “That Praline is cray-cray!” Have a happy weekend, everyone!

    You have a most wonderful way of capturing these cuties on film! I want to adopt all of them!

    I’d like to do a feature article on your blog – it is so fantastic! Please let me know if you’re interested?
