Someone mentioned the other day that the picture of Momos and Khinkali sticking their heads out of the holes of the wall cube made them think of the opening credits of a sitcom.
I thought that exact same thing! In fact, every time I see more than one kitten up there sticking their heads out, I sing to them.

Come and knock on our dooooooor…

We’ve been waiting for youuuuuu…

Where the kisses are hers and hers and his… Three’s company too!

“Hey! Where’d everyone go?!” ::audience laughs uproariously::
I don’t know why it’s the Three’s Company theme song that immediately pops into my mind (especially since it’s just one or two of them at a time – Bao and Momos in this particular case, followed by a single Khinkali), but it just does.
Now we’re all going to head down to the Regal Beagle where a hilarious misunderstanding will surely ensue.

That little cat tree – which I got from Aldi at some point in the past few years – is getting a lot of love from these guys. Pierogi loves to hang out in the hammock and Momos likes to bite that stuffed “leaf” at the top.

Tortellini’s guarding the toys.

Wonton LOVES to hang out in that Fancy Feast box.

Calliope sure does love a snuggle.

I have no recent pictures of Rocco (he’s doing just fine and very happy – our chipmunk population seems to have exploded this spring and they’re keeping him busy and out of my line of sight. If I don’t see him, I don’t think to take pictures of him, is how that works) so here’s a throwback picture of him from 2024.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky/Threads) yesterday.

Here’s Calliope’s belly shot! It’s definitely round, but it’s honestly not as big as I would have thought – it seems much bigger when she’s waddling across the room. To answer the questions:
(A) We don’t know when she’s due. Because figuring this stuff out is apparently not an exact science, they basically said “Any time between now and the 12th of Never.” (paraphrased) I’m not feeling movement, so I hold out hope that she’ll wait until the Dumplings are adopted before she gives birth.
(B) Her kittens’ names will be mythical Greek figures – I have a list of names about a mile long, so anything that fits that general description is in play. I guess I’ll call the litter as a whole “The Greeks.” The Greeklings? We’ll see if anything better comes to mind before kittens appear.

Milo is home. ❤️ Thank you all so much for your kind words, notes, and messages about him. Knowing that so many of you loved him so much truly does help. We’ve received some lovely things in his memory, but have no idea (except for the crystal hearts) who sent them! Several people also sent us items off our wish list. Unfortunately, Amazon isn’t great about telling us who sent things. If you sent us anything at all and didn’t get an email, please email me so that I can thank you properly!

These kittens – especially the girls, ESPECIALLY Tortellini – can JUMP. It’s impressive how high they go!

Every morning, after the kittens (and Calliope) have finished their breakfast, I scrape all their leftovers onto one plate. They see me put the plate down and RACE over as though they haven’t eaten in WEEKS, and this ridiculousness is what happens. I assure you, none of these knuckleheads are starving.

Slow motion kittens – I took the video from earlier and slowed down some of those awesome jumps.

Despite knowing better, I accidentally left my phone on the couch face-up and I don’t know HOW she did it, but Tortellini took this series of pictures and somehow changed my settings. It took me 20 minutes to get my phone back the way it was! She’s an evil genius, this girl.

I had a bunch of short clips of the kittens jumping, colliding and hippity-hopping at each other, so stitched them together into one longer video. If we could only harness that energy!
