Margeaux’s kittens are 1 week old (and someone brought them a toy. Awww.)

In case you missed it in the blog this morning, Margeaux’s kittens have been sexed and named. We have three girls – Fleur, Gabrielle & Josephine – and three boys – Henri, Luc, and Beauregard. My husband chose the names (we stayed with the French theme, obviously). As you can see, both of Josephine’s eyes are open, Beauregard has one eye open, and I don’t think it’ll be long before they’re all glaring judgmentally at us.

Eyeball report – the *plinking* of opening eyeballs has been nearly deafening today. Except for Luc (who says “eyeballs is overrated, I’ll just stay in the dark for a bit longer, THANKS”), they all have both eyes either completely open or partially open. There’s a world out there, and these kittens want to SEE it, apparently.
