Looks like someone’s tail needed the ol’ chomperoo, and Zephyr knew JUST the guy for the job.

Yesterday morning I decided that the Brunch Bunch had had a few days to acclimate to the current situation, so it was time to meet a few kittens!
Both Zephyr and Zeus got pretty floofy the moment they spotted Waffle. Waffle, on the other hand, did not hiss, growl or floof. He just looked at them.
“What is the meaning of this, lady?!”
I don’t think the kittens approved.
“Harrumph,” said Waffle. A moment later, he got up and strolled behind the couch indicating that this meeting was over, and so we carried Zephyr and Zeus out of the room.
I don’t think we were even in there for more than three or four minutes; I didn’t want anyone to get overwhelmed.
Mocha was in the wall bed, and was like “Oh, I don’t like the looks of that. I’ll just stay here.”
Muffin said “I’m not sure what that was, and I don’t think I wanna know.”
Muffin looked VERY serious – Fred said “She looks mad!” but I think she was just trying to figure out what was going on.

Zeus, Daphne and Pandora were taking a nap with Calliope. Zephyr and Cassandra opted for solitary naps. (Cassandra, who didn’t end up in the video, was curled up in a scratcher across the room.)
Cassandra says “Check out THIS belly!” It’s an awfully cute one, for sure.
🎉 Former fosters Bao (now Bao Bun) and Khinkali (who went home in June)! Erin says: “Short update on Bao Buns and Khinkali – they are both growing but are still playful and cute as a button! Khinkali is our climber – she loves climbing on anything to get up high. Bao loves his seat by the window where he can watch the birds in trees.” (Thanks, Erin!)
Waffle’s tail is MAJESTIC (and pictures don’t do it justice!) (We are cat sitting Waffle and his siblings; they are not available for adoption.)
