I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. I cut and paste the following every year because although they are recycled words, they hold 100% true – you guys are the best, and I appreciate you so very much. Thank you for coming back here to read and comment or lurk – and for some of you (a lot of you at this point!) for adopting kittens from us. It’s been a great, kind of crazy, and sometimes sad year, and I hope 2020 is a little calmer (but not TOO calm) with no losses for any of us.
I’d most likely keep this blog going even if no one was reading (for one thing, I don’t know that I’d ever be able to remember when certain events happened without this handy blog to serve as my diary), but you guys make it so much better, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Frankie! It’s a fairly understated design, I know, but I love the way the wreath was hanging behind him, and he couldn’t possibly be any cuter. I considered photoshopping a Santa hat on his head, but I think it’s pretty perfect as is.

Merry Christmas, Robyn and Fred and all that is Shady Cove!!!!! Thank you for all that you do! As long as you keep writing and publishing this blog, I will continue reading it! Whether you know it or not – or wanted to be or not! – Love & Hisses has become part of my daily routine… alarm, coffee, L&H.. and a part of my holidays traditions… order calendar, find card (I collect vintage cards and seek out any containing a cat in any way 🙂 – this only the past 5 years or so), add my name to your card list, get out xmas decorations – L&H Christmas cards from years past take their place on my refrigerator – anticipate arrival of current year’s card – to both enjoy and add to my collection! All the while alarm, coffee, L&H daily! OY! Typing this kinda makes me look a little weird… so, sorry! We’ll just go with ‘eclectic’ and leave it at that! Have a wonderful holiday and nothing but the best to y’all in the new year!!!!

Have a wonderful holiday… all of you guys! Thank you for the blog, thank you for my best friends Amber(cup), Phoenix and Stardust. Thank you for all the others that I would love to reach out to and pet (I almost said comfort, but I am sure they get a ton of that from you). The pictures you post sometimes save a really bad day by sending sunshine into it. I tried to get a few pictures to send you of at least Stardust, Phoenix and Amber, but the were too tired and all they would show me was their butt! However, we all are sending you best wishes for a great next year.

I know that starting my day visiting Shady Cove is an essential part of my day (like coffee and feeding Malcolm). This world has become a strange place, but I know my little dose of daily happiness from Alabama resets the world on its proper axis.
