Is this the first time (well, for you) a mother was adopted into a home with her kittens? I know TinyKittensHQ had this happen on at least two occasions, and I know in your case someone adopted a mama and a kitten from a different litter.
Yes, this is the first time I’ve had a mother adopted with her kittens. Usually by this point mamas are ready to be kitten-free and tend to be irritated by their kittens, but Sodapop loved playing with hers (and I’m sure she’d deny it, but I think Sundrop is her favorite.)

Do your permanent residents ever play together, chase each other, cuddle with each other, etc?
Charlie and Khal will occasionally play, but Alice wants none of that nonsense. None of them actually cuddle up with each other, but they’ll all three hang out together on the couch at night… which is relatively new, and it’s nice to see Alice not running from Charlie.

I can’t remember all of their names pre adoption. Do you have a page or list the has their litter, names, and new names?
The “all fosters” page (which is linked from the sidebar) has a page for each litter, and I try to keep them updated with new names, but I don’t really have a list anywhere.

(Permanent resident) Alice says “Do ya MIND?”
(Permanent residents) Charlie and Khal hang out by the Japanese Maple tree in the back yard.
(Freeloader) Rocco likes to hang out in this spot in the front yard.
Our rose bushes are VERY happy right now.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
Rabbit rabbit rabbit. (Throw Back Thursday: Moxie, from March!) From Wikipedia: “Rabbit rabbit rabbit” is a superstition found in Britain and North America wherein a person says or repeats the words “rabbit”, “rabbits” and/or “white rabbits” aloud upon waking on the first day of a month, to ensure good luck for the rest of it.

Moxie and Poppi were adopted yesterday and went home to Sacramento, California, where they join a family that includes former fosters Theo Pesto and Sofia Soy Sauce (2021). If you’re on Facebook, you can follow them here.
Here’s their video of pictures from when we said hello – when they were 1 day old! – until yesterday. I had honestly forgotten what a little cotton ball Poppi was when she was tiny!

Good night innernets. (Permanent resident Khal. Also known as “Floomp” and “The magnificent Khal.”)
