In case you missed it…
Yesterday, Moxie and Poppi were adopted!
They flew home to California, where they join former fosters Theo Pesto and Sofia Soy Sauce – and if you’re on Facebook you’ll be able to see Moxie and Poppi AND Theo and Sofia on their Facebook page, right here. Moxie’s new name is Biscuit, and Poppi’s is Poptart. (I guarantee you that those two have no idea that their names were ever Moxie and Poppi, because they had many nicknames!)
Today’s post includes the rest of the pictures I took while Moxie and Poppi were here with us.
They heard they were flying home, so they knew they needed to get their flyin’ skills perfected.

Keeping an eye on things.
Trying on harnesses. These harnesses fit okay, but they seemed a bit much. The girls are still pretty small, so I opted for the other kind of harnesses.
These are the ones I ultimately went with, they fit better and weighed the girls down less. After an initial “?!?” reaction, they ran around and played with no complaints.
Those EARS.
Checking out the carrier. (We had just gotten back from a short drive. I think I took them on 4 or 5 drives leading up to yesterday, so that they’d be used to wearing the harnesses and being in the car. When it was time to leave yesterday, they climbed right into the carrier.)
Charlie was in the room, and Poppi didn’t notice it, until she did. FLOOF SUIT ACTIVATED!

Keeping a close eye on Uncle Charlie.
They were very quiet, so I went looking for them, and they were just hanging out in my office together.
Then they moved to my chair. As long as you’re comfortable, girls!
The house is VERY quiet right now, and I am in the process of doing a deep clean of the foster room. Not sure when there’ll be more fosters in the foster room, but I don’t imagine it’ll be terribly long.

Hooray, hooray, Moxie and Poppi were adopted today! They are flying to their forever home right now… to Sacramento, California, where they’re joining former fosters Theo Pesto and Sofia Soy Sauce!
