Richie’s turn. Tina watches encouragingly from the bedside table.

Richie lands.
Tina says “These boys are having all the fun. My turn!”

If you’re curious, the distance between the scratcher and the bed is exactly 4 feet. At this age and size, unless something goes terribly wrong in midair, they’ll always land on the bed. (So far, nothing has gone terribly wrong in midair, but you know it’s a possibility!)

Richie’s the wild child today – he’s very LEAP-y!
One might THINK that Tina would sit on that cat tree RIGHT in front of the bird feeder and smack at the birds as they come to dine. One would be wrong. What Tina does is sit on the floor and keep a very close watch on the bird feeder. When the birds are on the feeder eating, she LEAPS! up and smacks at them, and they fly off in a panic. And then she sits on the cat tree and looks very, very pleased.
