Every morning when I let the Brunch Bunch out of the foster room, Waffle checks to be sure my bed is as comfy as it should be.

Mocha stays in her favorite bed and keeps an eye on me as I refill the water bowl, scoop the litter boxes, and do other exciting chores.

Waffle and Muffin come back into the foster room to tell me the news. (“Bed is still comfy. Floors need vacuuming. There’s a ladybug on the door and Maple is thinking about eating it.”)

And Maple checks to see what I’m doing.

Before Teresa and Karen got here to start packing auction winnings yesterday, I hung out with ChaCha and the kittens in Fred’s room.

Flamenco really likes this “sunshine” stuff.

Flamenco hugged and bit ChaCha’s foot.

And then she hugged and bit Mambo’s foot.

Tango checks out this “sunshine” Flamenco keeps going on about.

Sashay in the sun, havin’ a think.

Tango and Sashay have a tussle.

And Tango, Mambo and Sashay curled up together for a nap. (Flamenco was off hanging out with Mama.)
Late afternoon, I moved ChaCha and the kittens back to the dining room and kitchen, and apparently there were ALL kind of new smells for them to smell. They all walked around and sniffed everything before they decided their “new” room would do.

Charlie was glad to regain access to Fred’s bathroom. That bath mat is apparently QUITE comfy.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

These guys are ::drumroll please:: EIGHT WEEKS OLD, can you believe it? Look how grown up they are!
Check out their weight chart right here. And if you click on the tab at the bottom marked “comparative weights”, you can compare them to former fosters at the same age.

Former foster Meander! Sharon reports: After a year and a half, Meander has found her own space to nap. Everyone stays away, as it’s Her Chair, and why shouldn’t that be given that look on her face. How CUTE is she?! (Thanks, Sharon!)

Thank you for your service, veterans.

It’s not my BEST work, but I did manage to finally get a picture of all four of the Brunch Bunch in one shot! From left: Maple (formerly Dillydally), Waffle, Muffin (formerly Ouiser), and back there waiting patiently is Mocha. (All cats got an equal amount of Churu, don’t you worry.)

Line ’em up! From left: Tango, Flamenco, Mambo & Sashay.

“Wow,” says Flamenco. “There’s so much dust in the air! I wonder where it comes from.”

Good night innernets. (Tango & Sashay)

I can see a difference in Mambo and Tango in these pics! Mambo’s eye stripes are straight and parallel and Tango’s have a curve and point in different directions. Such a cute bunch
Meander looks like a princess about to complain a pea underneath her mattress.
Life is hard when you’re royalty.
That line ’em up pic of the kittens made me LOL! You took one a week or so ago, and they all looked so grumpy!
hi someone said i should leave a question in one of your comment section. So my question is i have to newly fostered kitties, brother and sister the brother is brave and exploretory while the sister is shy. when ever the brother is away from his sister for more than a few minutes he will call for her ( they are 2 months old btw) but he makes the same noise when he follows us around or sees is this normal behaviour? and how do we get her to be more brave or less afriad or untrusting towards us?. they were found in a prison after their mother was eaten by inmates by someone and now we adopted them if this explains any behaviour issues thats why i added this info
What a heartbreaking story!
In a new place, it is normal behavior from those personality types. Try to cater to those distinctions and give them “safe” spaces both high up and on or near the floor. The brother will be a big help in drawing out his sister, so give him positive experiences. His sister will see this and get curious. She will warm up, with time.
There’s so much to tell you about, but I’m sure others on this blog will chime in. God bless you for being so kind. Google Jackson Galaxy and watch his vids; he’s the cat daddy, after all.
