Tango says “I don’t know, it doesn’t seem all that exciting out there.”

Pile o’ kittens, with their serious little faces. (Sashay on the left, Tango in the middle, Flamenco on the right, and Mambo back there doing whatever a Mambo do.)

Kitten pie! (My favorite!) I put them in the pie plate so I could change out the bedding…

Tango says “Mambo’s got a very comfy butt!”

“What you doin’, lady?” Tango wonders.

Their teeth are starting to come in, so they’re biting EVERYTHING – including each other – right now.

The Roomba was going, and Esmeralda was VERY interested. She finds it very intriguing and will follow it around the house.

“All day meeting? Don’t mind if I do!”

Alice on the back porch, enjoying the humidity. (UGH)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

Good morning from the milk bar! (From left: Mambo, Sashay, Flamenco and Tango. And oh yeah, ChaCha starring as the milk bar!)

Patsy – who was adopted last weekend – is doing great! She’s making friends with her big brother Moose (brown tabby) and big sister Lily (black and white tuxie – our former foster Cruise.) I think Melissa is finding out that she THOUGHT she was getting a kitten and actually got a monkey in a kitten suit! (Thanks, Melissa!)

There’s a whole lot of purring at this milk bar.

There was a fly in the house, and Esmeralda was FASCINATED. She chased it, but she never did catch it. Oh well – can’t win ’em all!

Esmeralda keeps an eye on her favorite hummingbird.

Mambo does a dramatic retelling of his bad dream (“And I looked and looked but there was NO MILK BAR and I was having a STARVATION!”) while his siblings ignore him.

ChaCha is a climbing wall AND a milk bar. She’s an excellent multi-tasker, is what she is.

Good night innernets. (From left: Tango, Flamenco, Mambo & Sashay)

Have you ever heard any up-date on what has happened to Nigel and Hazel’s rather fearsome Mamma Beatrice ? Have Forgotten Felines managed to find a place where she can be safe and looked after in a way that works for her ? Do hope she’s happy in her own way.
The original plan was to return her to an outside life, but she ended up going to Michelle’s house, where she’s still located. I think she’ll probably be staying there, at least for now.
Sorry Melissa,
that is definitely a monkey in a cat suit.
Such smug kittens and so nice to see Cruise too!
the tiny dancers all have little Simba heads and ears!
I’m catching up after being off Facebook for a couple of days so apologies if I’ve missed your post about this already, but can you tell Tango and Mambo apart without the green ear dot yet? (I can’t, btw!)
Tango is noticeably heavier than Mambo, but otherwise NOPE, I haven’t a clue who’s who!
“doing whatever a Mambo do”
Why, he do the Mambo, he do!
😀
Absolutely cracking up at that video of Patsy (aka monkey in a kitten suit); Moose monitoring her closet shenanigans is too much 😀 What an excellent update from Melissa.
Hi, Alice!
I always feel sorry for the poor mama cats, reduced to a milk bar (not by you, Robyn, just by the fact that little kittens seem to nurse all. the. time.) Poor ChaCha deserves a break!
Hi Alice, the pretty* calico. *pets*
*I know, I’m being redundant – if there’s a not-pretty calico, I’ve never heard of them
