Praline was sitting on this shelf next to the crate and she couldn’t figure out the sounds she was hearing from the other side of that “wall.”
Puzzling.
I always get a little tense when someone sits on top of the cubby like that, but have yet to see anyone actually fall off it. They’re good with their claws, those kittens.
Being this cute is EXHAUSTING.

I weighed the kittens yesterday – a day late for their 5-week weigh-in – and Praline is the heaviest kitten at just over 1 1/2 pounds. Andouille’s not far behind, at just under 1 1/2 pounds. You can see all their weights on their page. Everyone’s eating well, obviously!

Videos! In the first, I’ve got Andouille spitting (I actually got a short video of him spitting at me last night at bedtime, which I posted on Instagram). All of the kittens spit now and again, and it’s never when I have them on camera. UNTIL NOW.
In the second, Andouille and Beignet have the zoomies – and poor Nola is unfortunately a speed bump in the way. Not that it slows them down!

Floofy orange and white lapcat. That one’s going to have a home in nothing flat. I gotta admit I like Beignet’s independence, though, and the other two are bouncy-adorbs.
