Sydney apparently didn’t realize I was in the room, so in her surprise she hissed at me! (And since the #1 rule in the foster room is “Hisses get kisses”, she got many, many kisses. Hey, I don’t make the rules*, but I certainly follow them!)

Beautiful Crumpet is one of my favorite L&H Mama Cats – so glad to see her so happy! And, I totally agree that kitten hisses should get kisses.

Where did you get the outdoor cat houses pictured with Khal? I’ve been looking at options for shelters for some feral cats I’m feeding, as I’m worried where they’ll find adequate shelter when bad weather arrives.
We got those from Amazon nearly 10 years ago. They’re the “Pet Squeak Arf Frame Dog House, X-Small”, but unfortunately they’ve been discontinued. This house is similar (though a little larger). Now that I think of it, though, we purchased two shelters like this one right here for Trixie and Rocco when they were spending so much time on our front porch and I highly recommend them. The top lifts up for easy cleaning, and has two entrance/exits, so they can’t get trapped.
