Snuggling with JoJo.
The results from Fleur’s biopsy came back – I know I’m not the only one who worried about cancer, but as it turns out it was an infection, as we’d expected. After a week of antibiotics and a course of steroids, she’s back to normal and the vet has said she’s okay to go. She and Josephine will be headed back to Petsmart on Wednesday. This morning she floofed at her own reflection in the mirror, so I guess she’s still prone to floof at random times (though I haven’t seen her floof at any of the permanent residents lately. I thought perhaps she’d outgrown it, but apparently not. And I’m not complaining – she is one entertaining little muffin.)
Kittens and their obsessions. (Fleur’s obsessed with my zipper pull; JoJo with my Loopycase.)
JoJo the slacker started nap time early – AND without me. So RUDE.
JoJo’s feelin’ kneady.
Morning play time with JoJo and Fleur.
Fleur & Josephine are now at Petsmart. They got a chance to run around and play with Gabrielle and Henri while I was setting up their cage. They weren’t thrilled to be back, but they were interested in sniffing everything. Hopefully their people will mosey along SOON.
Here’s your reminder that 4 month old Josephine (left) and Fleur along with their siblings Henri and Gabrielle are looking for their homes! They’re all super sweet, super snuggly lovebugs, and need to be in a home with at least one other kitty to play and snuggle with.
Here’s your reminder that 4 month old Henri (left) and Garielle, along with their siblings Josephine and Fleur, are looking for their homes! They’re all super sweet, super snuggly lovebugs, and need to be in a home with at least one other kitty to play and snuggle with.
I know you guys are sad about these four being in cages at PetSmart, and I know you’re imagining them all quivering and scared and being sad and missing me desperately, but let me tell you what – I stopped by during adoption hours last night specifically to see them, and they were perfectly fine. They let me kiss and snuggle them a bit, and then they ran off to play. (Picture courtesy of Teresa.) They haven’t been adopted yet, but trust me – they’re FINE. Don’t be too sad for them – until their forever families come along, they’ll get play time and snuggle time, and are making friends with the other cats (you can see a bit of Callie, a sweet tortie, at the bottom of the picture. Henri ran over and jumped on her, and they wrestled and had a good time.) That said – thank you for loving and worrying about my babies as much as I do.
