Reverb’s eyes are looking pretty good! He’s still just a bit congested, but sounds (and looks) MUCH better than he did a week ago.
His eyes will never look completely normal, I imagine, because when he came to Forgotten Felines last June, they were pretty bad. (You can see a picture of what they looked like here. I don’t want to post the picture here in the blog because not everyone wants to see the gross stuff.) Compared to that, his eyes look amazing. I think we’ll always see his inner eyelids at least a little, and I don’t think the fogginess will go away – but stranger things have happened, so maybe? He can definitely see, and whatever impact there is to his eyesight isn’t affecting his abilities at all.

Mimosa and Spritz were adopted (together!) on Friday, and went locally. Here’s their video of the pictures I took of them while they were with us – just a few days short of 1 month! (Seems like they were here longer!)

Wow, Reverb’s eyes have made an amazing recovery! I’m so glad he’s improving.
I’ve noticed in the recent posts that it seemed Reverb looked better and was actually partaking in activities, but I was hesitant to mention it…jinxing it and all that! Rum is looking good too!
The pic of Rum waiting his turn while Reverb is in the basket amuses me, it almost looks like Rum has a little skeptical cuz Reverb ain’t even doing the dangle, what a misuse of the basket!
And I still laugh when I see Whiskey all front and center needing attention because he was such a skitterish little thing for you when he got there…love seeing it click for kitties that life CAN be this good!
Reese! How do you not squeeze that little marshmallow fluff into nothing?? She’s a cheeky little cutie! And you caught another rare siting of a stationary Fizz!

Thanks for the separate link showing poor Reverb’s eyes beforehand, it’s amazing how much better they look! I can’t believe the rest of The Nightcaps haven’t been snapped up – have there been any applications? Probably just as well I’m in the UK or I’d apply for them all! Thanks so much for everything you do for the strays and especially for sharing their activities with fabulous captions!
Glad Reverb is doing better. Everyone is adorable.
They are all looking great, and yes, the eyes are much better. Since he can see, he should do well, we’ve even had blind cats at the rescue which did just fine in the right homes.
