It’s a Hazel pie! (My favorite.)

Isn’t it funny how different litters like different toys? The Pops loved this Fruitasan during their entire stay, but the Britty Bunch barely goes near it.
I have no pictures of Beatrice for you, since a picture of her would basically be a picture of the bed she stays under most of the time when either of us is in the room. She is off today for her spay surgery and won’t be coming back here after (I know I’ve mentioned that, but I think a lot of people missed it.) They’re going to spay her, ear-tip her (read about ear tipping here) and find a spot for her where she can be outside, be fed regularly, and live the life she wants. Keep your fingers crossed that we’re able to get her into a carrier (we have plans. I’ll let you know tomorrow if they worked the way we’d hoped.)

Fun fact: Khal is ear tipped; we had them do it when we had him neutered because we didn’t think he’d ever want to come inside. (Of course, once we decided to move, bringing him inside was a priority.) I don’t think his ear tip shows up very well in pictures, I’ll see if I can remember to get a close up.

Sebastian makes a good footrest.
Today’s news is that Sebastian is back on the bottle – I haven’t had to tube feed him since sometime Monday – and while Clark is NOT nursing on the bottle the way his little brothercousinfriend is, he accepts formula via syringe instead of fighting it the way he had been, and so I’m not having to tube feed him any more either. (Tube feeding supplies remain at the ready, of course, in case either of them backslides.)
A few people have questioned why Sebastian is taking the bottle, when Clark is older and should “know” how to. All I can tell you is that once he got sick last week, Clark refused to take the bottle. When a kitten doesn’t want to take a bottle, you’ve got two choices: (1) spend a lot of time putting formula in his mouth via syringe, one drop at a time, waiting for him to swallow it, putting another drop in his mouth and waiting for him to swallow it, and so on. Or (2) tube feed. Though I hate tube feeding, it’s a skill I fortunately possess, and when it’s 2 am and I’m faced with the choice of spending 1 minute tube feeding a kitten or half an hour dripping formula in his mouth, I opted for the faster and simpler version.

Benji gets BOOP’d. I swear Benji is the most laid-back kitten I’ve ever had. You pick him up and he just goes limp, gives you the blinkety-blink eyes of lurve, and purrs like crazy. Such a little sweetheart!

Haha that image of the ginger spotted kitten (I’ve not memorised the names yet, for shame) is like “oh i’ve accidentally fallen and left my stomach exposed i hope someone doesn’t come rub it?!” and just lying there waiting impatiently for someone to notice.
(also i want Benji so baaaaaaad, good thing i don’t live in the same country, otherwise i STILL couldn’t take him but i’d have to admit it was a choice rather than an impossiblity lol)
