Lastly, I found this short video on my hard drive, and just about fell over dead from the cute. It’s the Pickles, from three months ago, at around five weeks old. LOOK at wee Magoo! (It’s a very short video. I wish it was longer!)

Stinkerbelle has ZERO use for those kittens, and she makes sure they know it. If they so much as glance in her direction, she warns them off with a growl.

  1. OMG, OMG, OMG! Stompers’ ware!!! I am trying to talk myself down from the wine cooler… thankfully payday is a couple days away so I can come to my senses before I buy everything!

    Must look at the kittens some more to calm down… 🙂

  2. Oh, Stompers…we really need a Stompers update with some pictures. The pics in the calendar gave me that feeling I get when I return my fosters to the shelter and look back a few weeks later at photos. A happy but sad feeling in the gut. Robin I am sure you know what I mean. I think Stompers made a big impact on all your followers…so if you can get some new pics of Stompers and show us the mighty orange man that would be awesome.

    1. I really suspect that one day Stinkerbelle’s going to fall in love with a foster kitten despite herself, and then we’ll have to keep that kitten!

    1. I can’t believe how little he was – and his voice even then was so distinctive!

      We like to keep ’em stressed. It’s good for them. 😀

  9. Well, I rushed right over and purchased a Stompers calendar and shirt. Now I can snuggle up in that shirt and have Stompers right next to me.

    Wee little Magoo, so very cute!

  12. How could I not get a Stompers calendar?!? Ordered! He’s doing fantastic. Still just as sweet as can be and full of love and playfulness.

  13. Our insurance adjuster called for the tree on the garage. He had a thick Southern accent and I said,” I hope you don’t mind if I ask where you are from?” Alabama was the reply. He travels the country for the Insurance Company. I wondered to myself,”Is that how Fred sounds?” Were you and Fred amused by each other’s accents when you first spoke on the phone and when you met each other? You’ve lived many places and I’m sure you don’t have a super strong accent but Fred is purely Southern, isn’t he?

    Stompers flasks and shot glasses! I must go look! Very fun idea!

  15. Geezus!!! I had just started to watch the kitten video and all five of my cockatiels started thrashing in their cage!
    I guess a young kitten’s whining is a trigger!

Robyn, I lubs you and all your kittens and your photo skills and – well, just about everything about you and your critters – I ::heart:: it all to pieces and back again, so I hope you’ll find a way to forgive me for this, but that first picture of Thistle… the angle or the light or something… looks like if a cat could get the so-called Elephant Man disease. I do believe I’m going to have nightmares.

    Give her an apology kiss/belly-rub/snorgle for me and assure her I still think she’s beautiful but tell her that angle just does NOT bring out her inner awesome. And it smothered all the outer awesome.
