The kittens are FIVE WEEKS OLD today, can you believe that? I’ll have their progress pictures up tomorrow – but here’s a comparison I can share today.
Two weeks and one day old on the left, and one day short of 5 weeks old on the right. The big difference (other than size) is that at 2 weeks old they stayed in the box; at 5 weeks old I had to take pictures fast, because as soon as I got all 5 of them in the box, they were zooming right back out.
Such a sweet couple. (Caroline’s doing her ham dog impression.)
Today’s the day I start offering canned food to the kittens. I mean, it’s been available – and Caroline does her very best to set a “This is how you eat, children” example to the kittens – but they’ve pretty much ignored solid food until now, so I’ll start putting some of it in their mouths and see if we can’t pique their interest.

2015: Can you tell that he’s just a sassy little monkey, full of attitude?
2014: Orlando is showing that camera strap who the boss is.
2013: “Oh lord, how am I going to pay for college for all five of them at the same time?!”
2012: “I HAZ A COMPLAINT AND MY COMPLAINT IS STOP TAKING PICTURES OF ME AND ALSO MAMA KEEPS PUTTING HER PAW ON ME AND IT IS HEAVYYYYYYYYYY, WAHHHHHHHHHH!”
