Rum likes the new scratcher. (I keep hoping he’ll dangle on it, but nope. Not yet, anyway.)

Kate hiding under the cabinet with a spring toy. As you do!

I think Reverb is thinking about starting something.

Some snuggle time with Reverb and Rum.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

If you missed it in the blog post this morning, we have two new fosters, who have joined Reverb & Rum in the foster room. Meet brother and sister Ollie (top) & Kate. Ollie is a rare male tortie, Kate is his sister. They just finished treatment for wet FIP and are here for post-treatment monitoring.

Say hi to new fosters, brother and sister torties Kate and Ollie.
They’re 9 months old, recently finished treatment for wet FIP and are with us for now (after FIP treatment is done, they need to be monitored for 84 days to be sure they don’t relapse – which is something that happens very rarely, but CAN happen.)
They are scaredy cats, but are starting to come around. They’re joined Rum and Reverb in the foster room, and they’re getting along fine.
Also, Ollie is a male tortie, which is very rare – only 1 in 3,000 torties/calicos are male.

Reverb ADORES himself a feather teaser.

When looking at today’s picture of Ollie, it hit me that his differently-sized eyes make him look like he’s wearing a monacle. Not only is he unique for being a male tortie, he’s also very chic!
