Back at the beginning of February, I downloaded the 1 Second Everyday app and started using it. I thought y’all might like to see the result, which is 99% cats. I suspect you are HUGELY shocked about that!

I was very pleased to walk into the room and see that the kittens were in a pile instead of bellied-up to Katia. I considered sneaking a hand in there to touch them, but she was keeping a pretty close eye on me, so I behaved.

So no kittens from Kristi yet. Obviously. Maybe this weekend. Who knows?

Khal Drogo, enjoying the sweet, sweet catnip.
“Dude,” says Frankie. “Stop bogarting the ‘nip!”
“YEAHS!” adds Stefan.
Shockingly, Sheriff Mama doesn’t seem to see what’s going on RIGHT in front of her.
“DUDE, come ON, hurry it UP!” says Frankie.
“No catnip problem here that I can see,” declares Sheriff Mama.
Deputy Jake arrives on the scene to determine what is going ON.
Deputy Jake, having determined that nothing is going on – “Nope! No catnip here!”, makes a pass at the Sheriff.
The Sheriff hands out the Whappy Paw.
Then stomps off, shaking her head at the audacity of that deputy. Said deputy is now checking out the ‘nip situation.
“::psst!:: Pass me a few leaves, wouldya?”
But Khal just lays there, high off the ‘nip, and dreams of his future ‘nip empire. His ‘nip-pire, if you will.

I love all the pictures and the video! I wonder if you slid in a can of wet cat food to Katia, could you slide OUT a kitten?

No, that was in the woods – I’m not much of a hiker, but I’ll hike for a waterfall. 🙂 When it rains very hard, there’s a waterfall on the other side of our neighbor, though, and I love it!
Interesting app – I love the last image from the app’s video of Katia and her kits – the little one with white arms on either side of its body while it nurses slays me! And I think the same kitten is the one lounging on its back in the first picture… we may have quite a character developing here.
Mama Sheriff needs to hone her nip patrol skills and keep her deputy in line. This story is hilarious and certainly should be added to the ‘favorites’.

Surprised that catnip plant survives with Khal squashing it like that.
That catnip plant takes a beating and keeps on growing – someone’s always hanging out in that pot. By mid-summer I’ll likely have to cut the plant back, because it’ll have grown so much.
….you mean y ou’re trying to get by on just ONE pot of ‘nip? That will never do.
There’s a ton of dried catnip inside. 🙂

that little tuxedo sleeping upside down is adorable. I will say, last summer when I had the VERY pissed off feral mom crated in my foster room, the only way I could track kittens until they could walk was to take a picture with the flash on and count eyeballs. you are light years ahead of me with Katia on that 🙂
Despite the fact that Katia is not having my nonsense, it could definitely be a lot worse! 🙂 (She looks SO SOFT, I wish she’d let me pet her!)
