  1. Oh wow!! I so missed looking at your gorgeous pics of all the kitties in your place, Robyn!! Beautiful Spice Girls, lovely Maggie and McMaos and amazing Stinkerbelle with true love Tommy!! Isn’t she just beautiful?!?! And that big gorgeous panther was that little kitty caught in mid-jump in one of your earlier pics?!?! No wonder Stinkerbelle is hooked! Yay! take care

  4. That Declan. Boy isn’t HE smug. He and Alice are definitely from Smugonia. That second pic of Stinkerbelle she looks pretty smug. “I can dangle my feet if I want. I won’t fall. No problem.” She is high in her cabinet “treetop” observing her kingdom.

    Oh I hope dear Maggie is adopted soon.

    And that pile of kittens in one bed. OMG. Teh cyootest.

  5. Declan seems to be thinking, “Admire my beautiful bracelets. That’s right, first the ones on my left arm; finished? — don’t worry, you can come back to them anytime. Now my left arm. OK, let’s move on to my mask — glorious, I know.” Any more GQ and he’d be sporting a smoking jacket and velvet slippers. Lovely boy — and Ciara is getting prettier by the moment. As for Garbo-esque Stinkerbelle, doesn’t one of the shyer residents at Pitter Pats do the same thing with her front legs? All good wishes for Maggie and her kids at Challenger’s House. Hope they’re doing well.

    2. Whoops — I meant “right arm” rather than that second left one. That’s what happens when one tries to channel a bright young thing. Meanwhile, can we strongarm Frances (thanks for the reminder re her name) and Stinkerbelle into a support group for retiring beauties? Tuna hors d’oeuvres will be among the canapés.

    This’s probably silly, but last night I had two (maybe one and a half, as it sure felt like one was a continuation of the other) nightmares involving an ill Macushla McMao. He *is* still perfectly okay, yes?

    1. Macushla is just fine! 🙂 Maybe your dream meant that you need to adopt him so we can be sure that he’s pampered in the style to which he’s become accustomed. No? 🙂

      1. Whew! That’s a relief to hear. 🙂 *pets him from afar* Alas, I’m half a country away, and my landlady would not be thrilled with me if I brought home a kitten. Adopting one kitten would necessitate bringing home a second kitten so the first didn’t get super lonely, which would tick the landlady off even more. Eep! Rats, no pets in the building. Muttermutter.

        I actually did something of a doubletake when I first read Macushla’s name. I’ve heard the proper Irish phrase before, used in a very different set of circumstances from naming kittens (two people I know, where one used it as a nickname for the other who he’d sort of adopted). When I spotted the Americanized spelling, I squeaked!

    1. It would probably be several days before we realized she was gone, so sure. Have at her! 🙂 (Fred would miss her terribly, though. He loves that she wants nothing to do with us, for some reason.)
