The feather teaser came out yesterday, and it turned into the Skip show.

That boy can LEAP when he wants to!

The other kittens didn’t stand a chance.

“Where’d it go?”

LEAP.

It’s a Disapproving Lollygag pie! (My favorite!)

Mosey was busy flirting with the ceiling fan.

Dillydally had a sleepy.

Talk about covered in kittens! (Mosey was lying on the bed beside me, and thus did not make it into this shot.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I took Meander upstairs one day last week to see if she wanted to hang out with her kittens now that her milk has dried up. I worry that she’s getting bored in the dining room by herself (although she usually looks pretty content), but the instant she saw all those kittens she said “Oh, NO THANK YOU. I TOLD you I was done with all that nonsense!” and demanded I take her back downstairs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Newt spends 95% of his day snoozing on this bed. The other 5% is spent using the litter box, drinking water, eating, and insisting AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS that it’s time for canned food. It’s a full life for the old man.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) this weekend.

“Move along, lady. This doesn’t concern you.” (Skip & Skitter)

“This is a vacuum-free zone, lady. Don’t you bring that thing in here!”

Dillydally has a purrrr.

It’s a Dillydally-Lollygag pie, with a side of Mosey. (My favorite!)

YouTube link
A minute of Skip: leaping from one cat tree to another, feeling like he’s being followed (by his tail), and then coming out of the donut/tunnel with a spring and running wildly across the room.

Good night innernets. (Dillydally)

“Saturday mornings are meant for sleeping in, lady. You go away and come back at a reasonable hour,” says Mosey.

4 of the 6: Skip, Skitter, Lollygag & Mosey. Bolt and Dillydally were very busy doing important Bolt and Dillydally things that were not for me to know about.

In my office, there are a couple (actually, three) Nest cameras, which I put in there when Meander had her kittens in there. When I moved them to the foster room, I didn’t disconnect the cameras, and yesterday these cameras caught Mosey and Skitter playing. I LOVE that Skitter came out of the condo and arched at Mosey, who slapped at him, which caused Skitter to basically run face first into the condo. Those boys crack me UP (and best part: I got to see it from two different angles!)

Ah yes, a perfect Dillydally pie. (My favorite!)

YouTube link
Skip and Bolt have a snuggle (or Skip tries to rip Bolt’s throat out. Same difference!)

Good night innernets. (Skip)

Mosey was headed for that patch of sunlight, but was distracted by a toy.

The catnip green bean toys are now an acceptable form of payment at the food truck.

YouTube link
Tossing toys for the kittens! They love this game nearly as much as I do.

Dillydally says “Lady, come ON. It’s time for nappin’!”

YouTube link
Mosey and the track toy, with attempted assists from Bolt and Skip.

Good night innernets. (Bolt)

    The “covered in kittens” pic looks like a great album cover…

    Have you ever thought of making a calendar with those kinds of pics? You should have lots of those. 😉

      Eva; Robyn does loads of variations of calendars every year! Watch out for them later in the year!

    I love all the ears in the shot with all the kittens in bed.

    Robyn, How old is Alice? Is she a senior like Newt? It seems like she is not photographed or mentioned as often as the other permanent residents.

      She’s 14. Her picture is posted every Tuesday, but since she doesn’t really hang out with her brothers, hates kittens, and is scared of adult fosters, there aren’t many stories to tell about her. (Though I appreciated her (mostly) tolerating Pita so well!)
