I put Sebastian in the pink Adirondack to take a picture, but he immediately turned around and stood up, and I saw his little bowlegged frog legs, and fell over dead from the cute.
Then he CLIMBED up the BACK of the Adirondack and I was like “What is going ON?”
And said “Whoa. How’d I do that?!”
Later, he looked at Margarita and said “I’m gonna get you.” She said “Bring it on, kid.”
Then she was surprised when he brought it.
She said “This kid’s got a lotta nerve.”
He gave Hazel the ol’ chomperoo. (A chomperoo loaf! My favorite!)
Then he climbed on top of Matilda and licked her ear.
They posed, knowing just how cute they are.
Nigel was all “Why’s this kid always biting my foot?”
“Because I can!” said Sebastian.
Let’s just say: Sebastian keeps himself very busy!

The Japanese Maple was starting to crowd the door from the garage, and also touching the ground and basically getting in the way, so I got out the clippers and hacked away at it. I was pleased with the results, but Charlie was annoyed and stomped off to pout. (See the pic in yesterday’s post to see what the Maple looked like before.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
Sebastian was helpfully giving Nigel the ol’ lickeroo (awwww!!!), and Hazel was all “When you’re done with him, can you do me?”
Matilda’s all “Whatcha doin’, lady?”

It’s like day 2 or 3, and the kittens are still having a blast with those small cardboard strips that happened when I was putting their scratcher/house together. And Benji has a special way of playing with the track toy, because he’s a silly, silly boy.
It’s a Benji loaf (my favorite!)

Benji helps to keep Monty clean, and in return Monty attempts to rip Benji’s throat out. Everyone has their own love language, y’know?
Happy Hour! Tonight’s special is the Margarita with a twist!

Sebastian must be the cutest kitten you’ve had! Maybe because he looks so tiny next to the others. Just adorable.
A full-house of cute and funny as per usual!!
Sebastian’s got places to GO and people to SEE.
He’s a busy, busy boy!
The Adventures of Sebastian belong to the Hall-of-Fame posts!
How you do not squoosh Baby Bash flat with kisses every single day, I will never know. This kitten slays me.
Benji is grey tabby and Hazel seems brownish with hints of caramel. But Bash truly seems silver tabby. I know they exist, I just don’t know if I’ve ever seen one that made me say “aha” like Bash. Is he a silver tabby?
I think of him as a classic brown tabby, but I’ll have to get back to you on that as he gets older and I can really see his “design”!
Is Bash within the weight and growth pattern for a kitten his age? I know nothing about kittens and you’ve never had any with this age difference before that I remember since I started following you in 2021. He is truly adorable and I m rooting for him to grow up big and strong.
He is within the normal range for weight – he’s 1.75 pounds at almost 7 weeks, and the general rule of thumb (though usually my kittens blow right past this guideline when they start eating on their own) is that they’ll weigh 3 – 4 ounces at birth and then gain 4 ounces each week. He was underweight when I got him (less than 3 ounces at 5 days old, and very skinny), but now he’s right where he should be. He seems so much smaller and slower than the bigger kittens because there’s such an age gap; the closest in age to him is Margarita, who is 10 weeks old. Nigel & Hazel are 11 weeks old, and Monty, Matilda and Benji are 12 weeks old. That’s a pretty big age gap, though he’s doing his best to catch up!
Thank you for explaining all that, makes sense. He s a little fighter and I just love him I hope he finds a wonderful home. Thank you for all you do for these precious kitties.
