Margarita warms her belly in the sunshine.
Nigel strikes a pose. (That’s a cat tree behind him; he is not wearing a very tall hat.)
Have we mentioned how gorgeous Hazel’s torbie stripes are? Delightfully bold!
Margarita and Nigel play with the wooden track ball toy.
Matilda takes a nap on my stomach.
6 of the 7! (Sebastian was downstairs snoozing in his playpen.)
Benji’s neatly crossed paws are the CUTEST.
Monty pie (my favorite!) in a post-lunch food coma.
When he is starting to get overwhelmed by the big kittens in the foster room, Sebastian comes over and sits at my feet and just looks at me ’til I grab him up and kiss him.
“I’ll take my bottle now, thank you.” Big head, big belly, big paws… tiny little matchstick legs. I’m amazed those skinny little things can hold him up!
I don’t have a weight chart up for these guys yet, and I’m not sure when I’ll get one put up (don’t hold your breath). But I can report to you that their current weights (as of yesterday) are as follows:
Monty: 2.81 lbs/ 1.28 kg (he weighed
Matilda: 2.31 lbs/ 1.05 kg
Benji: 2.25 lbs/ 1.02 kg
Nigel: 2.25 lbs/ 1.02 kg
Hazel: 2 lbs/ 0.91 kg
Margarita: 1.5 lbs/ 0.68 kg
Sebastian: 13.9 oz/ 394 g

It’s been rainy and stormy a lot lately, and Khal is 100% sure that I’m to blame. (He isn’t scared of the storms, he just objects to not being able to go outside without getting wet.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
“Well HELLO, good-lookin’!” (Benji)
Matilda (pink collar) and Margarita are turning silver – especially Margarita’s tail. I can pretty much guarantee they won’t stay this way – they’ll likely eventually turn all black again.

Sebastian – who is a few days older than 4 weeks – has spent most of his life in a playpen in the dining room, being bottle fed every few hours. Now that he’s getting bigger, it was time to meet the big kittens in the foster room (who range from 7-9 weeks old). It went well! He was a little wary at first, but then became quite curious and wanted to explore. The big kittens were good with him, but after about half an hour, he was ready to return to his quiet playpen. (He’s been visiting them for several days, for longer and longer amounts of time. Eventually – hopefully – he’ll join them full time.)
Sebastian’s all “ExCUSE me, I’m tryin’ to nap, here!”

For some reason, Hazel attempting to enter the cube by jumping into the hole on the top – instead of one of the holes on the side – cracks me up. Very fancy, Hazel!

All your videos appear as Alice-mo the Calico!
Checked the vids on YouTube and they’re great! Love ’em.
Oops! They’re fixed now. Thanks for letting me know!
My goodness, it’s adorable seeing Sebastian wobble around on his tiny legs, and how well the kittens play with him, running and then screeching to a halt and switching to a light tap or sniff. What stars, the lot of them! Love that he comes back to you when he’s done too, like, “thank you, now i require rest tall butler, please remove me”.
We get blamed for bad weather by our cats too!
that picture of little Sebastian staring up at you begging for relief from the giant kitten chaos. Adorable.
He’s so brave, hope he knows.
Khal, my Scoobie boy blames me for all sorts, it’s a wonder he likes me at all . Last week was an extremely noisy week with thunder and loud work just outside and I’d appointments all day Thursday so he’d a very difficult week and it was definitely my fault. We went for a lovely play in the lake yesterday and we’re all perfect again. Thankfully they’re fabulously forgiving. Xx
Matilda is 105kgs?!? Wow!!! She’s HUGE!
Just moved that wayward decimal point to the left a few spaces. 🙂
Lol!
