Can you believe that these little monkeys are SIX weeks old now?

At weigh-in yesterday, Rickles continued to be the biggest of the litter, weighing in at 1 pound, 13 ounces. I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if he hits 2 pounds by next week, in fact I expect it. Shecky wasn’t far behind, at 1 pound 11 ounces. Skelton was next, at 1 pound 10 ounces. Belushi was a respectably 1 pound, 9 ounces. Gilda was 1 pound, 8 ounces, and Louis and Roseanne continue to bring up the rear at 1 pound, 7 ounces each.
Unfortunately, Lucy lost weight over the past week, dropping down to 7 pounds, 14 ounces. She suddenly came down with diarrhea, and it took a few days to get it under control. She’s fine now, and eating up a storm, so I expect she’ll put that weight right back on.

They seem ENORMOUS, but when you think about it… I carry more than 2lbs in my backpack to work everyday! (Wish it could include a kitten though, dammit.)
Don’t we all wish we could take a kitten to work? Imagine the stress levels: nonexistent. Instead of boring old meetings, we would all get together and watch the kittens play. If some business got discussed, fine.
I brought three sleepy foster kittens to a Jaycees board meeting once. It was the most relaxed, congenial meeting we ever had! Can’t get angry when holding a fuzzy purring furbaby.

They DO look like class photos! But the one that cracked me up today was Rickles talking to the wall. Ohhh, if only we knew what that conversation was about….
When I see Louis, I hear your voice in my head saying “DA BAY-BEE” and I’m pretty sure it’s because I’ve actually heard you say that… but I can’t remember which kitten you used to say it to (it must have been in a video at some point) and it’s driving me cuckoo! I want to say it was Stompers but then I think it might have been Tony RH Pickle… AGGGH!

I’m with Brigitte….I need a kitten in my backpack, too (yes, I will buy a backpack just to get a kitten!)!!!!
