Rum’s havin’ a blep.
Reverb LOOOVES that cat tree in the living room, it’s his favorite daytime spot.
It’s a box full o’ Rumloaf.
Reverb is utterly FASCINATED by this door. He has seen Charlie and Khal go out and come in that cat door, and he appears to think it’s magic.
Rum also likes that cat tree in the living room, but possibly only because that’s where he can find Reverb.

Reverb could see Rocco out in the side yard, and he was FASCINATED.
Seeing Rum’s little back feet neatly lined up just makes me want to pick him up and kiss him 1,000 times. (And I did!)

We got out the disk launcher for Reverb, who was mildly interested in chasing disks. (He doesn’t go crazy for them the way previous kittens have – and Rum is not interested in chasing them at ALL.)

Have you ever had any of the kittens go through the cat door to the outside? If so, how did it go?
Yes, I was just going to ask if the fosters can get out the cat door?
Every now and then a kitten will figure it out, then they get out on the back (screened in) porch and don’t know what to do. If a kitten were to go through the cat door more than once, we’d just start closing the cat doors to the back yard to be safe. The most recent foster I remember figuring it out was Louis from the Ducklings. He got onto the back porch and then was really scared!
Oh it would have to have been a Duckling they’re so adorable.
I’m pretty amazed that they don’t figure it out. I guess it just goes to show how much enrichment they have in the kitten room and your house that the outdoors doesn’t seem all that enticing.
I love the various pictures lately of Reverb up on his back feet looking so l-o-n-g and busily investigating so many interesting things!
Really enjoying following Rum and Reverb’s progress and so glad they are doing well. I know I probably shouldn’t ask this question really – but I just wondered now that there are “only” 2 permanent residents at Crooked Acre (3 of course not forgetting freeloader Rocco) whether there might be space for a daily Rumdangle and some Reverb sweetness in your gang? :o)
