All the kittens. Apparently the big kittens are babysitting while the mamas are off having fun (or sleeping.)
And then Katarina and Dean went looking for Katia…
…and found her! Katia’s all “I need a better hiding place.”
I wondered yesterday whether Katia’s kittens would migrate toward the other crate with her or return to “home base,” and it turns out that home base is where it’s at. All the big kittens occasionally wandered over to Katia’s crate and bellied up to the milk bar, but then eventually returned to the main crate. There were several times overnight where both mothers and all the kittens were in the crate. One of these days that thing is going to pop open and kittens will go flying everywhere.
Also, someone peed a kitten-sized pee in one of the little litter boxes. I don’t know for sure who it was, but I suspect Dean.

Jake loves him some Khal Drogo, for sure. Possibly because Khal will lick him on the head and head-butt him, and most of the other cats are easily irritated by Jake. Jake just wants looove from his brothers and sisters.

Big kittens babysitting…Not fair, they’ve been around what? 4 weeks? and already they’ve managed to land the best.job.ever.

They are so cute it hurts. I wish I could adopt the grey one. (Don’t tell Simon I said that). I lost my beautiful grey boy Rocky unexpectedly from cancer way too soon (8yrs). A tuxie is another one I’d like. My first cat was a tuxie, back when I was 5. I’ll just have to watch. I can’t afford more than one and Simon is one plus. They are all too easy to love and too hard to loose. Thanks for sharing yours with us.

I love the pictures of Jake and Khal. I’ve always been kind of attached to Jake, so I’m glad he’s got a new friend. And Khal! Such a failure at being feral!

This is one litter you do not have to provide with warm rice-filled socks. There are enough warm bodies to lounge on for everyone! 😀

Maybe someone else has already said this, but I just realized that the little ones are the half-uncles and aunts of the jumbo kittens! There’s something extra-adorable about that.
Eyeballs already? Has it been that long? Tiny baby kittens grow so fast!
And I don’t blame Jake one bit for wanting to hang out with Khal Drogo. If Khal’s furs are anything like as soft and floofy as my Zelda’s, which they strongly resemble aside from color, Jake would be silly not to!
And is that Oksana or Katarina sprawled on her back in the middle of the kittens she’s supposed to be babysitting??
I recently started watch Game of Thrones (yeah, I know, welcome to the 21st Century!) and I was rather impressed with myself for being able to remember so many names, especially considering how unusual they are. NOW I remember why!!! I loved your GOT kittens!! So next time I decide to start watching something that’s been around for a while, I’ll be sure to check here first and see if there are any namesakes that can help with my memory! Love your kitties!!!
