ChaCha takes a (well-deserved!) break.
I love Flamenco’s serious little face.
Tango’s all “What’s going on over THERE?”
Sashay says “Oh, it’s just that lady.”

This window hammock is in Fred’s office, and it’s one of Esmeralda’s favorite places to settle down and snooze.

And when Charlie decides he’s done hanging out in the back yard and Esmeralda is confined upstairs to my bedroom and office (and bathroom and hallway – the girl has plenty of room, is what I’m saying), Charlie claims the hammock as his own.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) this weekend.
Looks like Mambo’s lodging a complaint.
🎉 Former fosters Owen and Nolan are doing great! Haley reports that These two basically run the show around here – the boys absolutely love them and they’ve quickly made friends with our other cats. We’re still not sure if we’re settled on names yet. But N is going by Jinx and O is going by Binx right now. We seriously cannot thank you enough for helping us complete our home and hearts with these two handsome guys! Am I surprised that they’ve settled in so quickly? Not at all! ❤ (Thank you Haley!)

I swear, I think that hummingbird has a little crush on Esmeralda, the way it keeps coming back and staring at her.
Happy little milk bar. From left: Sashay, Mambo (or Tango), Tango (or Mambo) and Flamenco.

3 minutes at the milk bar. Is there anything more soothing than watching kittens nurse? (Mambo and Tango certainly want it to be known that they are BOYS.)
I was doing something at my desk and could just feeeel eyes on me. I turned around to see Esmeralda staring at me. I thought maybe she wanted me to toss that ball for her. So I did… and she stared at me like “What’re you DOING?” Ah well.
Good night innernets. (From left: Flamenco, Tango, Sashay & Mambo)
Sashay’s giving me the judgey face, and Mambo back there is all “What’s going on over THERE?!”
It has somehow been FIVE years since classic brown tabby boy Rhus (formerly Rochefort) and his brown tabby and white sister Oleander (Constance) were adopted!
Cat reports: things are abit hectic here. but muffins are well and keeping the house together with important muffinjobs. they make evry part of life so much easyer. they are the highlight of my life and keep me on my toes. oleander has taken to tackling the sewing mannequin periodicly, and rhus has decided that he must alert me when he thinks its time that i go around and open the blinds evry morning. they are the very best and the house would fall apart without them.
Happy Gotcha Day, sweet babies! (Thank you, Cat!) (PS: You can follow them on Facebook right here.)

Mambo finds his feet… and his voice. OH, that sweet little voice!
Esmeralda likes to snoopervise Fred’s work meetings from the back of his chair, and while she hasn’t had anything to add just yet, I feel sure that sooner or later she’s going to chime in.

Your daily milk bar video!
Flamenco (left) and Sashay, from behind. Honestly, I never have any trouble telling these two apart. Flamenco has an orange blotch on the back of her head, and Sashay has the orange blotch on her face. (Also, Sashay is smaller, but it’s the orange blotches I look for.)
Good night innernets. (From left: Sashay, Flamenco, Mambo (climbing over Flamenco) and Tango.)
Tango vs. Mambo. This is how I tell them apart: Tango has a green ear. 🙃
ChaCha is a gorgeous girl, in case you hadn’t noticed.

There’s a Tango-Sashay-Flamenco mosh pit going on, while Mambo snoopervises.
Head snooperviser Esmeralda was keeping an eye on my printer (which she had not yet met) because it was making a strange noise (it was printing). You better believe that if it needs to be fixed, she’ll be in there with a wrench.

The kittens are continuing to find their sweet little voices. (And I thought for a brief moment we might have an escapee from the crate, but apparently it’s not quite time yet!)
Mambo yells “you GUYS, get over here and line up, she says we have to work on our lining-up skills!” So bossy.
Tango wants to know what’s going on out here.
Good night innernets. (In the very back: Sashay in the center, Tango on the left, Flamenco front center (THAT SPOTTED BELLY) and Mambo on the right.)
