Whiskey in a basket, Rum in a basket. Comfy as can be!

Not the best shot, but it’ll do – that’s Mimosa on the left, Spritz on the right. You can see that Spritz’s brown/tan coloring is much darker than Mimosa’s.

Whiskey’s over under the window, while Reese and Reverb negotiate for the top of that cat tree. (Reverb won ’cause he was already up there and wasn’t gonna move.)

Rum’s coming to see what’s going on while Reese and Mimosa (I think) have a tussle.

Rum went to the vet on New Year’s Eve morning, because he didn’t seem to be feeling well. Except for a slight ear infection (which they treated), he got a clean bill of health, so that was some good news to end/start off the year right.

Except for Reverb, this bunch is over the upper respiratory crud. Reverb will stay on the meds for now, but the others can go med-free (which neither they nor I am complaining about!)

Whiskey really likes the basket (all the kittens do!) The basket was sent to me by someone whose cat wouldn’t use it, so she passed it off to me. As you’ve seen, all the kittens are big fans. She got it from Etsy, the seller’s name is ModeMassaRopeArt This particular basket is the Cotton Rope Basket, round, 4X Large, in color Blue Melange.

Spritz is feelin’ smug.

Mimosa puts her toy away and then tussles with Fizz. (Of course, I don’t think she REALLY “put her toy away”, but if she does it again, I might get excited. But she does indeed have quite the tussle with Fizz!)

In 2025, we fostered 45 cats and kittens. Here’s a video of all their sweet faces. We some hard losses this year, but also so many healthy, happy kittens and cats.

Reese really loves hanging out on the Churu desk EVEN THOUGH (1) I haven’t given out Churu on the desk yet, and (2) She’s one of the rare kittens who isn’t that crazy about Churu. She’s such a silly little goober.
