How old is Alice? Is she a senior like Newt? It seems like she is not photographed or mentioned as often as the other permanent residents.
She’s 14. Her picture is posted every Tuesday, but since she doesn’t really hang out with her brothers, hates kittens, and is scared of adult fosters, there aren’t many stories to tell about her. (Though I appreciated her (mostly) tolerating Pita so well!)

Skip’s ready to get the laundry done!
Such a helpful bunch.
“Laundry’s done, man.”
Mosey and Dillydally are wondering who THOSE gorgeous kittens are.
“Well that’s a good-lookin’ fella right there,” thinks Skip.
The kittens had a visitor.
Charlie has been very uninterested in coming upstairs to visit with the kittens, so Fred brought Rocco up on one of his many strolls through the house. (Rocco was interested because he knows where there are kittens there is likely to be kitten food.)
Dillydally put on her medium-floof suit. She figured it might not be worth getting out the FANCY suit for this guy.
Rocco took a wander into the bathroom to see if there was any food in there, and the kittens followed. It cracks me UP that they’re all floofed and freaked out, but instead of hiding, they follow him around.
“How DARE,” says Lollygag.
“The NERVE,” says Skitter.
Bolt said “Oh, no thank you.”
“I don’t know that guy, and I don’t wanna.”

Recently, Fred took down this screened box outside the living room that he made a few years ago. It was there to provide a second way from the house to the screened porch because Archie used to sit right outside the back door (from the house to the screened porch), which prevented Alice from going out there at all since she was scared of him. Since he passed away, it hasn’t really been needed, so away it went.
But before Fred took it down, Rocco would occasionally come over the fence into the back yard*, and at some point he realized that the top of the screened box had a little give to it. So he’d climb up there and snooze on it like it was a hammock. I’m kind of amazed that Charlie was sleeping in the box and Rocco was sleeping on top of it, and there were no hysterics. (It’s entirely possible Charlie didn’t realize Rocco was up there.)
*The cat fence prevents our cats from getting out of the back yard, but doesn’t prevent other cats from getting into the back yard (and then being unable to get back out!)

When Meander sees Alice (or, really, any of the permanents), she gets so excited. She chirps, she goes over with her tail held high, all “Hi, friend! Will you be my friend?” and Alice (or ALL of the permanent residents) just hiss at her like a bunch of grumpy old meanies.

Skip, Lollygag and Skitter are having fun with the triple-layer trackball toy, Dillydally and Mosey have a bit of a tussle, Dillydally puts on her most casual floof suit, and then gets in on the track ball fun.
Mosey with the Precious Moments eyes and the ridiculous whiskers is just a CUTIE.
