Posty is just the cutest.

Stapler from above.

And Paper Clip from above.

Posty and Paper Clip are chillin’.

Sodapop takes a break.

“Watchin’ you, lady,” says Sundrop.

Sodapop keeps a close eye on the wandering Moxie.

And then comes down to floor level to keep an even better eye on her (or to keep one eye on her and one eye on the birds.)

Keeping the sleeping pile o’ kittens company, while (you guessed it) watching for birds.

Looking at Sundrop in this position (and using Poppi as a pillow) makes my neck hurt.

Poppi’s caught in a Thought Loop.

Sodapop says “HIIIII lady, whatcha doin’?!”

Fred has a small space heater in his office, and every morning Charlie goes in and positions himself directly in front of the heater and steals all the warm.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

The kittens are 3 weeks old (as of yesterday), and all of sudden their ears have moved up and they look like miniature cats! They’re leaving the nest more and more (and then returning), have batted at a couple of toys, and even come over and sniff me occasionally. In a few days I’ll be setting up litter boxes for them and I am going to be VERY surprised if Moxie’s not the first one to use the litter box.
(Also, the milk bar appears to be shrinking! Very interesting that Moxie and Poppi appear to have traded “seats.”)

Gray and white tuxie Posty (girl, just turned 9 months old) is still available for adoption. She loves Churu, snuggling, and chasing spring toys (in that order) and is just an all-around goofball. When she’s not snuggling or haunting the Churu desk, she makes a living as a contractor (the demolition of cardboard structures is her specialty), collects spring toys, and snoozes in the sun. She gets along well with other cats, and was fine with the dogs in her previous foster home. If she sounds like your kinda gal, email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

We are located in Huntsville, Alabama. Out of area adoptions ARE allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption. (Posty DOES have her driver’s license and technically COULD drive herself to you, but see above about demolition being her specialty; we’d rather keep the roads safe.)

Tossing toys for the kittens – though Posty’s really the only one who was interested in the toys I was tossing. Pardon the extremely shaky camera work, Stapler was on my lap demanding petting.

Sodapop’s always keeping an eye out for those pesky birds.

Moxie goes wandering, finds her mama, sniffs at the plate of canned food (though she didn’t actually eat any – she’s still too young for that yet), and then heads back to the nest.

Paper Clip – girl, silver tabby and white, just turned 9 months old – continues to be available for adoption. She’s a super sweet girl who will greet you at the door, stand up and “hug” your legs, and will join you for a snuggle before she races off to play. She’s a lap cat, but after some snuggling likes to find her own spot to snooze. She is CRAZY for a feather teaser, loves it if you toss spring toys for her, and if you get out a tube of Churu she is your very best friend. She gets along well with other cats and was fine with dogs in her previous foster home. If she sounds like your kinda sweetheart, email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

(Paper Clip DOES have her drivers license and technically COULD drive herself to you, but she has a problem differentiating left from right, and is often so busy arguing with the GPS that we’re afraid she’d end up nowhere near her destination.)

Good night innernets. (From top: Sundrop, Poppi (left), Moxie & Fanta)
