Yesterday…

Bao and Khinkali were adopted (together) and went home!

They’re staying local in the Huntsville area, and there aren’t any other cats and dogs in their new home. They are going to rule their new family (which includes three kids) in no time flat! The family is negotiating names, so I’ll have to let you know what they decide.

Today’s post includes the last of the pictures I have with them.

The face Bao gave me when I told him what a good-looking boy he is. “Um duh, lady. I know.”

Khinkali balanced on an outlet cover. If you were curious, these things stand up just fine to a 3 1/2 pound kitten.

You know, when I first got these guys, I was like “Bao is one to watch. That boy gets into everything.” I’m now thinking that Khinkali might be the mastermind to keep a close eye on.

Sitting and waiting with Wonton, just in case it’s Churu time.

Napping with Momos.

New box, and the girls have to check it out.

“You talkin’ to me?” Khinkali asks.

A lap full of Bao, Khinkali and Wonton.

Sleepy Bao.

Sleepy Bao, and Khinkali keeping an eye on me.

Wonton and Pierogi look like Calliope’s bodyguards here. Or henchmen. “We heard there was gonna be more food now that those two are gone and we’d like to DISCUSS where that food’s gonna go. You get me?”

Momos heads home this weekend!

Pierogi can’t believe he’s still available for adoption! Where ARE his people? Show yourselves! (Read his description below and email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an online application here)

PIEROGI (male – DOB 2-26-26) is a silly, sweet chatty boy who will greet you at the door, inform you that he is STARVING and then race off to play while you’re getting food for him (but don’t worry, he’ll be back to gulp down his food before he races off again.) He is one energetic, playful boy who is nearly constantly on the go and loves to RUN! JUMP! and POUNCE! on his siblings. He rarely slows down, but when he does he might allow a cuddle or two (he’s not sure about being kissed, but we’re working on it.) He – did we mention? – is super playful; his favorite toys are ping pong balls, felted balls, and toys with feathers attached (they might not have feathers attached when he’s done with them, though.) He gets along great with other cats and would be fine with cat-friendly dogs. He MUST be in a home with another cat to play (and cuddle) with – if you’re looking for a pair, his siblings Wonton and Tortellini are still available, and he gets along great with them. He’s neutered, vaccinated and ID chipped and ready to GO.

We are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Forgotten Felines does adopt out of the area but adopters must come here to complete the adoption because Pierogi is a terrible driver and they pulled his license after his 15th speeding ticket (boy’s got a lead foot and refuses to use his turn signal), so he cannot drive himself. Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an online application here

Yesterday I posted a video answering the question “How do you get the lined-up pictures of the kittens?”, but that video started with them already on the desk. This video is of how I get them up there – and the answer is they pretty much put themselves up there, because they’re hoping for Churu (which, this time, they got!)

Throw Back Thursday: one year ago, Sebastian (AKA Baby Bash) was 5 weeks old, but still getting a bottle because he wanted it and who was I to say “no”? There’s just nothing like a bottle baby who takes the bottle well.

Tortellini is, indeed, still available for adoption. Her people need to hurry it up because her fur is so, so soft and it’s not going to pet itself! (Read her description below and email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an online application here)

TORTELLINI (female – DOB 2-22-26) has the most suspicious little face, but underneath it all, she’s a sweet little lovebug (and very very soft!) You don’t pick up Tortellini and put her in your lap – you sit your behind down and WAIT for her to come to you… and come to you she does. She can’t help it, because as much as she wants to deny it, she’s a lover. She loves being petted, she loves (we think?) being kissed, she loves snuggling with her siblings and she loves kicking their butts. She’s just full of love! When she’s not snuggling, she is SO playful. Jumping! Playing! Racing at full speed from one side of the room to the other! The girl can MOVE, and she loves it even more when her siblings chase her (or she chases them.) Just when you think she can’t possibly have THAT much energy, she comes over and climbs into your lap for a cuddle to recharge before she’s off again. She loves (and will chase) any toy you toss for her, and has a special fondness for ping pong balls, felted balls, and rattly mice. She MUST be in a home with another cat to play and cuddle with. If you’re looking for a pair, her siblings Pierogi and Wonton are still available, and she gets along great with them. She’s spayed vaccinated , ID chipped and ready to GO.

We are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Forgotten Felines does adopt out of the area but adopters must come here to complete the adoption because Tortellini refuses to listen to the GPS (she argues with it and then she calls it names. It’s all very distressing.) Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an online application here)

Wonton is thinking about how he’s still available for adoption and he just doesn’t get it. Where are his people, already! (Read his description below and email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an online application here)

WONTON (male, DOB 2-26-26) is the SWEETEST little guy who has an instant purr and will sit in your lap to be petted for a good long cuddle. He doesn’t mind being kissed – in fact, he’s one laid-back dude who doesn’t mind being kissed a LOT. But don’t mistake his mild manner for weakness – he might be the smallest of his litter, but he doesn’t mind leaping on the nearest sibling to tussle, and he holds his own very well. He loves it when you toss toys for him, will chase a ping pong ball, enjoys batting rattly mice around, and will bunny-kick a stuffed toy until it begs for mercy. He especially likes feather teasers, and if you wave for one he will jump higher than you’d ever expect. He gets along great with other cats and would be fine with cat-friendly dogs. He needs to be in a home with another cat to play (and cuddle) with. If you’re looking for a pair, his siblings Pierogi and Tortellini are still available, and they get along great. He’s neutered, vaccinated, ID chipped and ready to GO.

We are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Forgotten Felines does adopt out of the area but adopters must come here to complete the adoption because Wonton is easily distracted, tends to drive too slowly, and just cannot be trusted behind the wheel. Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an online application here

🎉 Hooray, hooray, Bao and Khinkali were adopted (together) and went home today! They’re the only kitties in their new home, and their family is negotiating names, so I’ll have to let you know what they decide. (They’re staying local in the Huntsville area.) Happy life, sweet babies! ❤️

Good night innernets. (Momos)
