Nolan in the sun, playing with the track toy.
Owen in the cube, bunny kicking that toy. (He certainly has the crazy eyes.)
Patsy in the wall cube, taking in the view.
Owen’s all “I was ready to get organized, but Nolan and Patsy are busy elsewhere, so I’m gonna take a nap.”
I love how perfectly they fit into those little crates.
Nolan’s having some donut time.
Nolan’s all “Excuse you, lady, we is tryin’ to have a nap.”

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) this weekend.
Owen pie (my favorite!) for breakfast? Yes, please!
I said “Patsy! Nolan! You’re in the wrong places!” and they said “Backwards alphabet!” and I said “Good enough!” and Owen said “?”

Leapin’ kittens! Nolan, Patsy and Owen get their leap on – some do it better than others, but all three of them made it.
Nolan’s on my desk, eyeballing my Poorly Drawn Lines page a day calendar (highly recommend!) and thinking “How’s it September 5th already?!”
I thought I’d get a tandem leap onto the bed from these two, but Nolan said “I’ll take the bed!” and Patsy said “I’m headed for the floor!” and once again they didn’t do what I thought they’d do. Story of my life.
Good night innernets. (Nolan in the top bunk, Patsy in the bottom)
A three-kitten cube! (That thing really gets around.)
🎉 Former fosters Arlo (formerly Nigel) and Emmylou (Matilda). ❤️ Bethany says: “Don’t let the picture fool you. Currently they’re running laps around the house sounding like a herd of wildebeests, between taking wrestling breaks. Elder cat Macca [with the mastiff in the background!] is unbothered.” In a later update, she reported “Arlo got tired and decided to crash with Maisie.” How absolutely adorable is that? SO CUTE! (Thanks, Bethany!)

Patsy’s feeling a bit crazy today, and the boys have captured themselves a mylar teaser.
Owen found himself locked in a closet last night for about half an hour. When I realized he was in there and let him out, he was super sweet and friendly and purred very loudly. I guess he forgot I’d locked him in there (it was an accident!) and only knew that I’d “saved” him.
Patsy’s lying in wait like a trapdoor spider.
Nolan’s fabulous whiskers from another angle.
Good night innernets. (Owen and Patsy)
In the list of things kittens love to play with but isn’t (technically) a toy: the doorstop I bought so that they won’t knock the door to the foster room closed. They love to flop across it, push it across the floor, and bunny kick it.

A donut tunnel, or a clown car? Yes!
(From left) Patsy, Nolan and Owen are always curious about what I’m doing.
Patsy’s delightfully floofy belly. Yes, it’s a trap. But it is an IRRESISTIBLE trap, so whatcha gonna do?
Owen in the fruitasan. I love that they’re still using it!
Good night innernets. (Nolan on the top bunk, Patsy on the bottom bunk, and Owen on the couch)
