That brown packing paper is the FUNNEST THING EVER.

Eliot, keeping an eye on things and such.

Millie was not beating up Pete the Cat, because she’d NEVER.

Bethel and the spotted belly.

“Gimme your paw, I’ll pull you up!” (Eliot & Buxton)

“Gimme that camera, lady, I needs to take a selfie!” (Buxton)

“What’s going on over HERE?!” (Dexter)

Yes, Bethel’s eyes really ARE that stunning in real life too!

Otis, bird-watchin’.

Millinocket hanging out on the shelf, as you do.

Dexter, doing the same.

Scratcher full o’ Buxton, with a little attitude going on.

Frankie loves this bean bag bed (so does Jake, for that matter, and Archie can occasionally be spotted there as well.) That bed is a Jackson Galaxy Dumpling bed. That link leads to Amazon, but I’m pretty sure I bought that bed in Petsmart. And they must have only had purple, because if they’d had pink or green, I likely would have bought one of those colors instead (not that there’s anything wrong with purple, of course.)

  1. Sometimes I flatten out the paper and tape one end to a wall and drape the other end over a chair or box to make a tunnel. Dash, with all of his tail and most of his butt sticking out, thinks he’s invisible. I know this is true because when I call him as though I can’t find him and go, “Where IS he??” his tail just goes crazy from the evilgasm. Then I walk by so he can ambush me – he’s all boo! and no bite. Most of the time.

  2. Purple suits Frankie.

And Bethel looks perpetually amazed at the goings on in her great big world!

    • Yes, I thought the same thing. I mean, orange and purple together and then him being a tiger kitty just seals the deal.

  3. Bean bag chairs are the best! Our cat has discovered that my son’s video (bean bag) chair is one of the coolest spots in the house (leather-like material rather than fur/cloth.

  4. Elliot and Buxton: Take my paw if you want to liiivveee!

Ok, I’m behind, but I’ve been catching up and I have noticed, or THINK I have noticed, a long heart on Otis’ head? Comes to a point down the back of his head and the top humps are at his ears. Or am I crazy?
