Spock is checking out a cat toy, and is all “Fascinating.”

4 of the 5 kittens (Spock’s the missing kitten). Of course they’re going to all try to balance on the arm of the couch, why would they spread out on the seat of the couch? What fun would that be?

Kirk and Kes love this bed. I put it there so they’d have a soft place to land when they jump down from the couch, but they think it’s pretty darn comfy to hang out (and fall asleep) on.

It’s a Shag’s Wags bed. They don’t make them any more, of course – the website on the tag is defunct – but Jackson Galaxy has a similar bed (link for reference. Though two of the three colors that bed comes in are unavailable, which makes me think that that bed is on its way out, too).

Kirk is a big fan of this toy.

Oh, that Janeway. SO SO SO CUTE.

Fun fact: you can sometimes get a kitten to yawn if you yawn at them (they can “catch” yawns the same way humans do), and I spend far too much time yawning at kittens. But you’ll see that it worked! (Also, Uhura and Troi think I’m nuts, and yes: I do need a life.)
