Sebastian, playing with tails and ignoring me. At least the other three are posing nicely! (Benji was off doing very important Benji things. He didn’t share any details and it’s probably better I don’t know.)
“Nigel,” I said. “Are you being mean to the baby?”
“HE WAS BEIN’ MEAN TO ME FIRST!” You know? I believe it!
I got out the dangly mouse toy, and it was a hit. Especially with Nigel.
Matilda showed off her jumping skills.
And then Benji and Margarita did, too.
After a particularly boingy BOING!, it wrapped itself around the doorknob, and the kittens were briefly obsessed, but then wandered off.

🎉 Former fosters🎉 Cosmos (formerly Monty) and Dahlia (Hazel). Tabatha said that Cosmos was asleep in her lap, and then Dahlia climbed into HIS lap. How adorable is that?! (And then Dahlia was all “Don’t look, Ethel!” ) (Thanks, Tabatha!)

I put up the dangly mouse toy (it’s a toy mouse on a bungee cord, hanging from a hook clamped to the top of the doorway) and the kittens liked it QUITE a bit.
“Kittens?” says Lilia. “Oh no thank you, I’m good!”

Nigel was hanging out on my desk, so I played a video for him – the video from 2023, Tater chasing dust motes – and he found it very interesting.

Lilia can carry on a conversation for sure, but she’s nowhere near the level of Nigel and Tina!
I went back to read the 2013 post (because Norbie -aww-and the introduction of the Starks -more awwws!) and the chat on the post also brought up Stompers and his off the chart cuteness. I commented that I had Stompers “Not judging you” mug beside me. I just looked down, and yep, there’s Stompers’ mug STILL not judging me and my beverage choices 12 years later!!
That’s a quality mug to hang in there all those years! 😀
