Yesterday I suggested to Fred that since Benji is staying until July 7th (his people are going on vacation and will pick him up when they get back), we should just keep Hazel, Nigel, Monty and Matilda until then, too. That would give them a few more weeks for their people to find them, and for them to be able to go home straight from here instead of having to go to Petsmart. To my utter shock, he agreed!
So, that’s what we’re doing – if you are Monty’s, Matilda’s, Nigel’s and/or Hazel’s people, you have two and a half weeks to get your act together before they need to head off to Petsmart. (Side note: If you would like to adopt one/two/three/four of them but you’ve been hesitating because you, too, are going on vacation, I ask you: do you really think I’d mind hanging on to them ’til you can come get them? Nope! I would not mind, not one tiny bit.)

The filling oozed out of this Monty pie (my favorite!) and it doesn’t look like it wants to be wrestled back into the pie shell, so I guess we’ll just leave it. It’ll be FINE.

The last time Fred put the Da Bird feather teaser away, he left the feather dangling out into the room, and I didn’t notice it, but the kittens sure did! (I did eventually tuck the feather away so they wouldn’t obsess.)

Benji had himself a green mouse and didn’t want to share. Then Matilda said “I didn’t WANT your stupid mouse, but now I’m going to kick your butt just for your attitude!” Then along came Margarita to do some random hops, and that girl cracks me UP.
I always tell Nigel that he’s a seriously good-looking boy, and he just smiles and says “I know.”
🎉 Former fosters! 🎉 Pip (formerly Carmy) still enjoys the pie life, while Rupert (formerly Richie) enjoys his cushy round bed. Later, Rupert helps out with the laundry by bunny-kicking the dryer ball, and not-a-former-foster-but-still-an-honorary-Love&Hisses-cat Angus came to check out the birds and vermin on the front porch. What a good-looking bunch! (Thanks, Sharon)
