A really great family came to meet the kittens on Sunday, and as a result these two are adoption pending together!
Bao and Khinkali.
They are scheduled for their spay/neuters on June 2nd and will go home a couple of days later.
I always wonder how kittens are going to do when strangers come to see them, and it turned out that the Dumplings – who took a couple of days to warm up to me and Fred – were perfectly fine. Momos hid for a while, but by the time the visit was over, she was out and about.
Bao and Khinkali are going to have a blast (and be SO SPOILED – there are three kids for them to play and snuggle with!) in their new home.
This leaves the other four – Pierogi, Wonton, Momos and Tortellini – still available. I will put together profiles on each of them and start posting them later this week, but if you’ve been thinking about one (or two? or four!) of them, drop an email to Forgotten Felines at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire, or fill out an application hither. They’re all also scheduled for their spay/neuters on June 2nd and everyone can head home a couple of days later.

Thank you all so much for your kind words about Milo. We miss that silly, sweet boy so much – for a tiny boy, he was a BIG presence – but we’re all adapting. Magoo is hanging out with Khal a lot, and Charlie is teaching him how to properly patrol the back yard.
(A Rumdangle calendar will absolutely be among the 2027 calendars, by the way.)
They don’t always all hang out together, but you better believe that when they do I rush in and take a picture of it. (Magoo on the recliner, Khal in the window bed, and Charlie in the doll bed.)

Thank you all so much for your kind words about our loss of Milo. To answer the question many have asked, Magoo is doing okay. We’ve seen him looking for Milo a few times, but overall I think he knew before we did that the end was coming. He’s been hanging out with his big brothers, asking for love when he needs it, and napping in all his favorite places. I think he’ll be okay.
I looked all OVER the room for Pierogi before I finally spotted him hanging out in the wall cube watching me and looking ever so slightly amused.

Your blog post about Milo/Rum broke my heart. You really did do all you could for him – you and Fred were truly his “ride or dies.” It’s so frustrating and painful when our babies are hurting and we can’t wave a magic wand and make it all better. My thoughts and prayers are with all you guys at Love & Hisses and you better believe Milo is Rumdangling over the Rainbow Bridge!

Lovely news that two of the Dumplings already have their forever home lined up – not surprised, they are all adorable, and I’m sure the other 4 will not be far behind.
Is everything going fine with Chanterelle’s adoption ? I see her picture is still up as available – I do hope this is just due to the time needed to process the adoption, not because of any problem. She is such a cuddly sweetheart, and will surely bring so much joy to an adoring forever family.
