Weekly Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr Roundup.

Henri (left), Gabrielle (showing why her nickname is “Chatters”) and Josephine are back with us for a break! Petsmart is closed on Christmas Day, so we felt this was a good time for a break. They’ll go back Friday afternoon.

My weighted blanket purrs. (Left to right: Josephine, Gabrielle & Henri)

Good night innernets. (And of course Josephine, the smallest of the three, is on the bottom of the pile!)

Good morning, innernets. (Josephine & Henri)

Santa Khal is resting up for the big night ahead.

JoJo’s watching birds and squirrels with Uncle Frankie.

Khal’s all dressed up and ready to party, YES HE IS.

“Come ON, Santa! Let’s get this show on the road!” Smilin’ Gabrielle loves Christmas.

Henri the green-nosed kitten had a very shiny nose…

Josephine is such a little poser. Oh, that girl.

Good night innernets, from permanent resident Kara (aka Sheriff Mama.)

Merry Christmas everyone! We all hope Santa brought what you wanted most (or maybe what you needed most. Whatever Santa brought you, we hope you’re happy.)

Good night innernets. (Permanent resident Khal)

Boxing Day: not just for the kitties. (Taken in 2016)

Henri shows off his Ears of Annoyance.

Henri’s keepin’ Josephine clean.

Good night innernets. (Back to front: Gabrielle, Josephine & Henri)

Josephine, Gabrielle and Henri.

Henri will take a feather teaser DOWN.

HOW many times have you said to your cat “Please PLEASE tell me what you’re thinking, I just want to KNOW you!”? Well SAY HELLO to 5 1/2 month old Gabrielle (also known as GiGi) who never hesitates to let you know what she’s thinking and smiles while she does so! She’ll give you the news, then curl up next to you for snuggles and napping. Every home needs a GiGi to keep up on the hot gossip.

HOW many times have you thought to yourself “I sure could use a tiny masseuse with great big eyes in this here house!”? Well, HAVE I GOT A TINY MASSEUSE FOR YOU. Meet 5 1/2 month old Josephine, who is the very best at kneading the tension from your life with her tiny little paws while keeping her purring volume at the perfect level to enhance relaxation. She kneads and kneads and kneads some more, and when she’s done with that? A little more kneading. She’ll even manage not to roll her eyes when you say “Gosh, JoJo, you sure are kneady,” so might be perfect for the Dad-joke jokester in your home. She is the epitome of a lap kitten and if she’s not kneading on you, she’ll roll around in your lap while YOU knead HER. She’s a kneady little lovebug, is what she is.

Good night innernets. (Josephine, left, and Henri. Before they went back to Petsmart, obviously.)

A lot of people ask how I can tell these three apart, and it’s like this: Henri (lower right) is much bigger than the other two, and is much lighter. He’s got visible stripes, but the fur pattern on his back and side is more ticked than stripes and dots.

Gabrielle (lower left) has a line on her nose, and she’s also much darker than Henri. She’s got more stripes than spots, and she’s smaller than Henri. (Also her mouth is open more often than not, especially when there’s a toy or feather teaser involved.)

Josephine (top level) is smaller than the other two. She’s more spotted than striped, and her head is smaller than Henri’s and Gabrielle’s, which makes her look like she’s all eyes. (Fred says she looks like a lemur.)

Now, I’m not saying that I can instantly tell who’s who. I often confuse, at a glance, Josephine and Gabrielle, and Henri and Gabrielle, but I figure it out after a moment. I imagine that if they’re adopted in a pair or trio, I might lose the ability to tell them apart – but I suspect that their people will figure it out pretty quickly!

Good night innernets. (A snuggle with Josephine before she went back to Petsmart yesterday.)
