A couple of people asked yesterday, and yes – there will be both a Love & Hisses calendar and a Permanent Residents calendar for 2018. They won’t be available until early November, though, because I haven’t even started sorting through the pictures from this past year yet. (I always start off the year with such good intentions to sort through pictures at the end of each month and… well, I didn’t do that even once. So that’s a lot of pictures to sort through!)

I’m shooting to have them ready for ordering by the first week in November – definitely by November 6th, even if I have to pull an all-nighter!

Telstar, hanging around.

Telstar and the Paws of Up, Y’all. (And the Open Mouth of Outrage.)

Stardust, appalled. “I am hanging out in my Tiny Basket, you stop biting me, Hubble!”

“MY basket!”

Sweet little Phoenix and those totally green eyes.

Aurora’s keeping an eye on me.

The way she’s balancing on that shelf so she can see what Telstar and Stardust are doing cracks me UP.

Sweet Stardust.

Aurora’s all “No, Stardust, no! There’s no room for you in here!”

Stardust and her favorite mouse.

That’s Aurora on the shelf, biting Telstar. I love the difference in their markings – he’s so much darker than his sisters, with such dark, bold stripes.

“Come back! Where ya going? I thought we were having fun!”

“I hope he doesn’t think he’s coming in here. There’s not enough room!”

“Whatcha mean? There’s PLENTY of room!”

Video! Mercury’s kittens have got the hippity-hops, and they crack me UP.

“How YOU doin’?” inquires Dewey.

2016: Sodapop’s face is KILLING. ME. DEAD.
2015: Kittens usually smell like raw peanuts. These guys, however, smell like the broth from corn chowder: milky, buttery, and salty-sweet.
2014: Von and the Open Mouth of Outrage as she calls for someone to protect her from PW.
2013: “Juuuust rubbing my face on the track toy… ::boot::”
2012: Such a little floof.
2011: “What the-?”
2010: No entry.
2009: “Madame, I don’t believe I care for your tone.”
2008: No entry.
2007: Ingrates.
2006: Maddy is officially off the bottle!
2005: I wouldn’t say that Sugarbutt’s butt is at 100%, but it’s so much better than it was last Thursday that I’m not complaining.

  1. You can really appreciate how much they’ve grown (and way too quickly, by the way) when you see then plopped in the green and black basket. Although I’m sure they still are wee little monkeys, Hubble does look positively gigantic sitting in the basket.

  2. There are SOO many good pictures to choose from Robyn, I don’t know how you’ll do it! I DO suggest that that last pic today of Dewey be somewhere.

  3. Aurora balancing and checking out the view below… HA!!

This litter is the cutest EVER.

  4. OK, I’m sorry to have to ask… What product do you use when there is a little spraying (jealousy) going on? I adopted Red three years ago and kinda forgot he likes to be the only one. I took my current cat Sam to meet him, everything OK. Well now in my dementia- I have brought home a new female kitten (now fixed, no idea of age) and we have a spraying problem. Also, Red has NEVER gone over our 5′ chain link fence and I found him on our front window sill!!! New female stray/feral according to neighbors. How do I clean up this mess inside house? I bought a black light flashlight and the urine staines are horrible. Hubs bought “Sunny and Henry Pet Stain & Odor Miracle” spray. I still see urine. Any ideas?
    Thanks to all!
