Carmy is 7 weeks old today! He’s looking so grown up, I can’t believe it. He’s a silly, sweet, feisty guy who tolerates kisses and belly rubs, and weighs just over 2 pounds. Our baby is growing up!
Former fosters! The first two pics are Meander (from just a few months ago), the floofy tortie is former foster Mollie (Millinocket, 2018) and their brother Angus (not a former foster, but cute all the same.) Of the first picture, Sharon said: “Meander decided to explore an earlier opportunity to engage this morning. She’s not a firestarter even though she’s next to a lighter. She hung out for a while, then meandered herself elsewhere.”

Meet the new Fruitasan (Faux-tasan?)
Tina is such a sleek, gorgeous girl. She has gotten perhaps a tiny touch less vocal since her spay (though she can still be heard lecturing the kittens multiple times a day) and is learning to relax about them scattering all over the room.

Recently, Tina has started playing, and her kittens are not QUITE sure what to think about that!

First up, Sydney and Jeff play with Tina’s tail. Then the kittens and Tina play in/on/around the tunnel scratcher. Tina spots a tiny spider (and does nothing but watch it)… and then Sydney goes after Tina’s tail again.

I’m not sure why Carmy is balancing on his back feet while he cleans his front paws, but whatever works, right? (Please note that Tina is helpfully eating the rest of the kitten food, because she is a HELPER.)

Sydney in the fake Fruitasan. So far, the consensus among the kittens is that they like it, even if it’s not as big as the Fruitasan. They don’t seem to have any preference at all between the two – just jump into whichever one is closer.
