This is what their corner looks like now – the crate is wide open, pushed against the wall, and there are two litter boxes right there and easy to find. (And of course there’s a bunch of stuff piled on top of the crate!)
They’re all leaving the crate a lot now, but still consider it home base, and return there to pile up and sleep.
Flamenco (front) was out cold, but her siblings woke her up soon enough.
And then she unleashed the ol’ chomperoo on Tango.
Mambo’s following Mama around.
“I AM NOT A PLAYGROUND, CHILD.”
I looked down, and Sashay was sitting right next to me, looking up at me like “What we doin’, lady?”
Flamenco in the litter box, chewing on litter.
Mambo’s all “This does not taste good at ALL.”
(This is perfectly normal behavior; kittens always do this when they’re figuring things out, which is why I use non-clumping clay litter. I don’t think they consume much – if any – of the litter, though, because they climb out and p’tui litter all over the place.)
They still haven’t used the litter box for its intended purpose yet – and I’m not finding any puddles anywhere, so I guess ChaCha’s still pottying them. Maybe today is the day they’ll figure it out!

Line ’em up! From the front: Sashay, Flamenco, Mambo and Tango.
Yawns are contagious! (Tango on the left, Mambo on the right)

Permanent resident Khal has a complaint (his high-pitched meow cracks me UP.)
They’re all out of the crate now – they come out, look around, and go back. They’re not ready to be out of the crate for GOOD yet. They’ve checked out the litter box, but none have used it yet. I predict someone will either later today or tomorrow.

Mambo and then Flamenco get themselves some baths – I think they were hoping for a little milk bar action, but that didn’t happen. Keep trying, kids!
ChaCha says “Oh, yay. They’re mobile.” (She looks grumpy, but she was purring up a storm.)
Good night innernets. (Flamenco)

The 2nd picture down, where flamenco is out cold, is so cute. Behind the girls one of the boys looks like he’s covering the other one’s eyes. So cute
