In case you missed it, Friday afternoon…
Lilia went home! The people who’d applied to adopt her came to meet her Thursday evening, and it went well – Lilia kept flopping down for belly rubs, was interested in sniffing them, and was generally her cute self. Since their application had been approved, we made plans for Lilia to go home Friday, and off she went!
She has a new orange tabby brother named Nacho, who needs a friend. Hopefully they’ll be the best of friends before long, and Lilia will have someone she can REALLY tussle with.
Lilia will most likely keep her name (though to be honest, I’m not sure she actually knows her name since I always called her “Mama.”)
Today’s post has the rest of the pictures I took of her while she was here with us.
Yep, there was a feather teaser up there.
Flopping down and showing her belly is a signature Lilia move, if you wondered.
There’s a feather teaser up there, too.
Lilia pie? My favorite! (Yes, I sent it home with her – along with a lion cube that someone sent for her! Also, toys including ping pong balls.)
“Yes, I’m kicking the bejeebers out of Patsy. You got a problem with that?”
The kittens have adapted to her absence just fine. They napped with me for a while yesterday, and then kind of did their own thing – lots and lots of playing, snoozing and having a good time. I’m going to wait a couple more days and then let them start exploring downstairs during the day.

Owen has a crazy (again!) That boy is just NUTS.

I got out the floppity fish yesterday, and while Lilia really enjoyed it, the kittens weren’t quite so sure about it.

It’s apparently tussle time, and Owen is spoiling for a fight. I’d like to say that Nolan was the victor, but Owen’s a pretty feisty competitor. Let’s call it a draw.
Hooray, hooray, Lilia was adopted today! She’s gone to a (local) home with a 2 year old kitty who needs a friend. Hopefully they’ll be the best of friends in no time! Happy life, sweet girl. (She will likely keep her name!) ❤
Nolan’s all “What?” I love it when the kittens start using these wall beds and shelves.
Patsy toast for breakfast? Yes, please!
Still using the pink Adirondack (Nolan), still using the Fruitasan (Owen)!

Lilia: from “hello” to adoption.
Lilia was adopted yesterday (locally) and joined a family with a 2 year old kitty who needed a friend. Hopefully they’ll be the best of friends before long! Here’s her video of some of my favorite pictures from when she joined us to when she was adopted, June 19 – August 29th.

The kittens have the crazies. When Patsy jumps down and she and Owen arch up at each other, it is just ::chef’s kiss:: perfection.
Line ’em up! (From left: Patsy, Owen & Nolan) The kittens do not appear to be missing Lilia – they’re playing like crazy things, following me around to snoopervise, and just generally being happy. I’m going to give them a couple more days, and then will allow them to explore the downstairs. (Am I hoping for kittens staring at Uncle Charlie whilst wearing their floof suits? YEP.)
Good night innernets. (Patsy (left), Nolan (right) and Owen)
Nolan, Owen, Patsy, organized properly.
🎉 Former fosters Phoenix (left; fostered in 2017) and Amber (Ambercup, 2015) have a snuggle. ❤️ (Thanks, Deb!)

Tossing toys for the kittens. They’re not quite as into it as Lilia used to be.. .but give ’em time!
Baby bear Patsy has escaped the zoo and is on a rampage! If you spot her, throw a Churu at her and flee for your life! Story at 11!
This new snoopervisor spends a lot of time peeking around corners to make sure I’m doing my job. (Nolan)
I wish you could get comfortable, Owen.
