Nolan really likes to hang out in that bed full o’ toys.

Patsy in my lap, having a post-bottle relaxation.

Owen says “RAWR! I am a fearsome beast!”

Nolan was checking out that ping pong ball, and Lilia was all “Excuse you, all ping pong balls are MINE.”

Everyone doing their own thing – Patsy (left) having a bath, Nolan (right) in the pie plate watching Patsy, Lilia watching a ping pong ball roll across the floor, and Owen sneaking up on Lilia.

Another day, another blep for Lilia.

It’s a Lilia pie! (My favorite!)

And it’s a Lilia-Nolan pie (with a side of Patsy)! (My favorite!)

And NOW it’s a Lilia-Baby Frog pie! (My favorite!)
That’s a multi-functional pie plate, for sure.

Khal, who is one magnificent beast.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

The kittens are 5 weeks old! They’re all 100% on litter box usage, playing with toys (and each other.) They’ve done a little bit of climbing, but not much just yet. In the next week, I expect them to start climbing and – more importantly – to start showing interest in Lilia’s food! They’re gaining weight steadily – you can see their weight chart here.

Lap full of cute! Patsy on the left, Nolan in the middle, and Owen on the right.

The kittens are having an awful lot of fun on, in, and around the Fruitasan!

It’s a Patsy pie! (My favorite!)

While Patsy and Nolan are piled up in the crate sleeping, Lilia plays and Owen (mostly) watches.

Lilia and the very very soft belly – and it’s not a trap!

Love the timeline links, all about Ambercup in 2015!! She still loves her food, she is the cleanup baby, but I have to limit it to keep her fit. I saw the title was about being hungry and I figured it was the Squash bugs! Didn’t guess Amber would be the star!
It must be so fun to be able to see her as a (hungry) baby!!! (10 years ago… wow!) Love the update on her current relationship with food 😀
Bottle babies who take the bottle so easily and eat so well are a PURE joy. I love her wiggly ears!
Nolan looks like a little Fu Manchu. He’s so cute
Khal with his one foot hanging off is the very picture of relaxation.
I have a couple of questions. How long do you leave any left over wet food out and which weight scale do you have? I need to get one and wondered which one you have or would recommend.
It depends on who the food is for. In the foster room, I’ll usually leave canned food out for an hour or so before I pick it up. If it’s for the permanent residents, they get 15 or 20 minutes to eat what they’re going to eat before it gets picked up.
For scales, when they’re teeny tiny, I use this kitchen scale. Once they get bigger (and are too wiggly for that scale), I use this pet scale, which appears to be no longer available (of course!) I used to have this scale and liked it (it was knocked down from atop a countertop and never worked right after that.)
Are you sure that ISN’T an actual BEAST!?
I’m so glad Lilia’s belly isn’t a trap – it’s been so long since I had a kitty who would let me rub their belly!
Owen in that “RAWR!” picture – CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!
I love how the 2024 link is all about our dear departed Natalie… ❤️
I know, she was the sweetest girl ever. I both love and am saddened by her pictures from last year, knowing what was to come…
