  7. ohhh it looks like your rather sad-looking rescue litter is looking SO MUCH BETTER!!! because of you and your amazing ministrations!! their eyes look 1000% better. Oh Dandelion… I love her. If she keep those blue eyes I will faint. I am really thrilled to see them looking so much better. Oh Joy. You are a kitten angel!!!

    1. Their eyes are definitely much better! Thistle’s (the black Weed) still got a little way to go, but her eyes look so much better than they did a week ago!

  8. I am rendered helpless by Tony’s pot belly and his twiggy little legs. Whoever said he looked like Dobby the house elf nailed it. ♥

    1. They are definitely doing better – puttin’ on the ounces, playing like crazy! A few litterbox issues, but that’s not so bad in the scheme of things. 🙂

  11. Tommy is just gorgeous. Love a big black coal kitty. So warm for snuggling. Especially after a sunbath.

    Love the Pickles and those baskets. Look like a WWE cage match. Especially when Petey(?) looked like he was about to jump off the top of one right on his brother.

    Tony is growing into his head, but Dandelion, she has such a thin face. Maybe that’s why I think she looks like a chihuahua with her shag haircut and half0closed eye capsules.

  12. Norman the elderly ebony gentleman thinks you all have excellent taste in man cats. Perhaps you would like him to come visit so he can try to trip you by running through your legs as you move from room to room at feeding time?

    HRH Tony the House Elf is such a cutie-patootie that I can hardly stand it. Maybe Norman needs a little brother? (Norman, who is currently being swarmed by kitten foster brothers, answered “No” quite emphatically)

    1. I have an elderly ebony gentleman in my house as well! Murphy is quite the talker and has the Irish gift of gab. He will tell you he’s STARVING while he’s sitting right next to a dish full of food. 😀

  13. They’re all so cute but I loves me some Little Miss Dandy most right now I thinks. (Although snorgling little Mr. Tony RH Pickleheads bellies would be a tie.)

My Cuteoverload.com page-a-day calendar has as today’s picture a white kitten sitting in a canning jar and looking somewhat askance, with the caption, “From The Cute Farmer’s Almanac: Remember to put up a supply of kitties to see you through the winter.” I can’t find a direct link to the original post, but I thought of you and Dandelion. 🙂

  16. That is IT! I’m coming for Purslane. She’s so cute, and looks so worried. I promise to kiss her and love her and let her snuggle with me, and I’ll feed her when she cries (not really – Wouldn’t want to ruin her kitten-ish figure).

  17. Can I make a suggestion? Ok, it’s a lot of work for you, but I would love it if you had tags for each permanent resident! I love Miz Poo, and I would love it if she had her own tag so I could stalk- I mean admire her.

    1. That shouldn’t be too hard – let me see what I can do for you. They’ll be tags going forward, though, because I don’t see myself going back through all my posts and tagging them all! 🙂

  18. Handsome Tommy! Have I said before how much I love the black kitties??? 😉 How’s his eye spot?

    1. It’s staying pretty much the same size (we take a picture of it once a month to compare). I’m guessing that the vet was right, it’s like a freckle and nothing to be worried about (though of course we’ll keep an eye on it.)

  19. I do not know how Tony can stay upright on those spindly legs with that giant bellah. Too funny.
    You guys stay careful with the weather. Looks like it is covering you up about now. We are slated to get 5-7 inches of rain over the weekend, can’t imagine what that will mean for you guys. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

  25. Hoping that all is well with you weather-wise — and that the outdoor cats have all made their way inside.

    1. So far, we’ve had no weather at all from Isaac, it’s all South and West of us. We could use a little rain right now, but if Isaac goes around us, I’m okay with that. 🙂

  26. I am pining for Purslane… because if I can’t have Miz Poo, then she with the orange-tipped tail would be an adequate substitution. I am completely smitten with that kitten!
