Kelly (who sent something from our wish list – actually, all of the people on this list did)
Also, if you sent something from our Amazon wish list and did NOT get an email from me (or include your address in the note), please email me. Amazon plays kind of fast and loose sometimes and doesn’t always include the notes in the packages they send.

Nigel, climbing up the tall scratcher. He stops and thinks “Now, how do I get over THERE?”
“I’ll just launch myself and hope I make it!”
And he did. Nicely done, Nigel!
Nigel in mid-jump to the scratcher, and Monty considering his next move. (He ultimately decided to climb back down the scratcher to the floor, and leave the leaping for another day.)
Margarita (aka Little Mouse) on my lap. She’s pretty sure it’s time to eat.
Margarita and Hazel have a snuggle.
(From left) Nigel, Matilda and Monty enjoy some sunshine.
Benji puzzling over the track toy. “I don’t get it, lady.”

Weighing Clark in an empty Laffy Taffy container, because he keeps diving out of the bowl I usually use.
So that’s how Sebastian gets weighed, too!
Clark and Sebastian are doing well – Sebastian actually latched onto the bottle for an instant yesterday. Hopefully that trend continues! Clark is ever so slowly starting to gain weight, but more importantly – he’s started meowing again! I hadn’t heard his little voice in several days, but now when he sees me or Fred go by, he meows at us. (Sebastian’s voice, however, has been heard all along. The boy’s got opinions!) Hopefully they’ll continue to do well and Clark can at least visit the bigger kittens in the foster room, and once he’s completely back on track, he can join them.

Rocco under the Japanese Maple in the back yard. Sometimes when Fred is walking from the garage to the back yard, Rocco scoots through the door. Fred usually lets him hang out for a few minutes, if Charlie isn’t around.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
This looks like a sweet picture until I tell you that the instant after I took this picture (which was as far away from Beatrice and Nigel as I could get – I was zoomed in from across the room), Beatrice slapped the heck out of Nigel (it was an impressive double-slap) and hissed at him. I think she’s over this “kitten” nonsense.
Nigel strikes a pose. Such a serious face for such a sweet little baby.
Clark (left) and Sebastian have a snuggle. (If you missed it in this morning’s blog post, Clark had a rough couple of days. He’s doing better now, but is still a bit wobbly. He’ll be with Sebastian for a while longer.)

Hanging out in the foster room with a bunch of little cuties.
It’s a Benji loaf. (My favorite!)

I sent you the kitten milk and a case of duck wet cat food, both from your wish list. Will check back periodically to your wish list and help out when I can.
