Reverb’s content little face just kills me DEAD.

He’s been scoping out all the comfy napping spots.

Reverb’s having a good morning (the window is open and there’s sunshine; does it get any better?)

Update on Ollie (left) and Kate: they’re better, and available for adoption! They’re also 1 year old today, and what would be a better birthday present than being adopted? They’re both scaredy cats – they just need someone who’s willing to give them time and space to adapt and let their sweet personalities show. They’re a bonded pair and must be adopted together – email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire. (We are located in Huntsville, Alabama; out of area adoptions are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption.)

Every morning, Rocco (the neighborhood menace/freeloader) shows up in the window waiting patiently to be let into the house. Then he slowly strolls to the other end of the house and is let out into the garage. Along the way, he checks to see if there’s any stray food he can hoover up.

Lately, his slow stroll has hit a snag – Rum would love to be friends, and Rocco has enough friends, thank you. So it’s less of a stroll from one end of the house to the other, and more of a brisk trot as Rocco does his best to keep some distance from Rum. (Good luck with that, Rocco.)

(Permanent resident) Khal was coming into the foster room to check out the kitten food situation, then realized I was in there and stopped to look guiltily at me ’cause that boy does NOT need any kitten food and he knows it.

This is the look Rum gave me when I said “Go ahead, jump onto the Roomba and go for a ride!” (He was not interested in doing that, thank you.)

Reverb is the SWEETEST boy.

I was looking ALL OVER the place for Reverb, looked high and low and behind the couch and under the bed, and then suddenly I realized he was just quietly sitting in the PEEPs basket watching me search.

Wherein Reverb joins me VERY briefly for a quick snooze. But then he had places to be and he was GONE.
